Zajac on his own might be worth 2 meh prospects and a conditional 4th.

Honestly, a first rounder in these times is a high price. Some cap flexibility now to help facilitate trades is also good. If the leafs could for example pay the devils a 3rd rounder to take hall, retain 25% of his already 50% retention from Buffalo it would be all the difference.
