They conceded 3 goals in the opening 10 minutes. That’s absolutely ridiculous. The Jets just played defence the rest of the way because they know that Montreal—and just (frank)ing shock of all shocks here—has a hard time generating offence most nights.

They played hard no question, but they’re just overmatched up front most nights.

A lot of the people who want him with the team now are going to be the first to whine about his lack of production.

There is a lot he needs to get adjusted to. Busier schedule, less time and space with the puck. I don't want him to linger too long in the AHL, but I do think he needs time there. Less so than a guy like Kotkaniemi, who has more aspects of his game to hone as a center in my opinion.

People need to temper their expectations. Leave him in the AHL.
