Anthony Travalgia: Is help on the way? With the trade deadline less than 24-hours away, is help on the way?

I think that the Bruins could get Krug and Hoffman from the Blues for a7th round pick and a bag of pucks!

hall curses every team he goes to. i’m an avs diehard who happens to love the bruins as an eastern rival. was hoping neither one of us would land him cuz anywhere he goes ends up crappy (save for his mvp season in NJ).

still, maybe he’ll fit into the bruins’ system and workout. i know depth has been something of an issue this season for the bruins; outside of the perfection line it’s been hot and cold. hall could bring some stability as a second line winger.

best of luck moving forward! if the hockey gods be good, perhaps see you in the final!

As Pathetic as Hall has been, and he has been pathetic this season, it was a worthwhile risk at that expense. Hall has shown the ability to be an elite player, and hopefully he can finally show that he can contribute in system that brings wins to the club. You boys keep your first. Far better addition than a guy like Savard, who will play mediocre in his 12 minutes a night. Good trade B's

I like the Hall trade put him on with Krej and see what happens.

Brutal! The Kase deal is also still pretty horrific.

Letting Krug walk as Grzleyck goes down with yet another injury

after yesterday, I was hoping they would be sellers, but this really is not much of a risk. they didnt give up much value, and might finally have that winger for Krejci. and to thing, this will settle the Tayler-vs-Tyler debate from a decade ago

2010 me is so confused how Seguin is traded away for nothing and then Hall is acquired for nothing.

Well Sweeney has decided to go for it. So far all it's cost is Bjork. Time to stop shaving.

I copied an interesting take on Hall to get your hopes up:
Scoring chances created through controlled entries per 60 this season:
- Hall: 6.268
- Pasta: 3.163
- Marchand: 3.024

Primary shot assist per 60 for this season:
- Hall: 14.9
- Marchand: 14.46
- Krejci: 13.84
- Pasta: 12.22

Successful zone entry carry-in % this season:
- Hall: 70%
- Krejci: 68%
- Marchand: 60%
- Pasta 58%

High danger shot assists per 60 this season:
1.) Hall - 4.526
2.) Artemi Panarin - 3.974
3.) Connor McDavid - 3.845

He is an unreal neutral zone threat with outstanding zone entry numbers that lead to significant quality opportunities. He is a play maker begging for a team that isn't a complete dumpster fire.

Now, wouldn't the B's have to dump some more salary??? Or are all the injured out for the season??(unlikely)

Hate to say it, but you got a great deal.

If he poops the bed, you haven't given up anything for him.

I don't think you are getting NJ Hall, but surely you are getting more than Buffalo Hall.

The Bruins will have to move some guys to the AHL and the taxi squad I believe to make the salary work.

Also those numbers are very encouraging. Thank you.

Going to be interesting down the stretch. Can't complain giving up a 2nd for Hall. Seems like a steal. Definitely need some bodies back on defense. Have we heard anything on McAvoy?

I am intrigued what they will do with the top 6. I think it would be best to get Taylor going. Maybe keep him on a line with Pasta and Krejci. Marchand and Patrice can drive a line with anyone else.

Smith - Patrice - Marchand
Pasta - Krejci - Hall

On a down year, with some glaring holes and the team scrambling, I gotta give Don props. Wow! Finally brings in a winger with some pedigree and splash.. A lot of people will say 2 goals this year, but whatever the cost was low. I love it. Obviously the worry is can he buy in and be motivated?? Money talks, so this is his chance to earn his next contract in the leagul. If Hall fails, not much is lost.

For those that want the Bruins to sell, explain to me that plan? So trade Krejci for what, a mid to late 2nd round pick? Rask isn't going anywhere with a NTC/NMC.

I like that.... Be great if they can find someone to stick with Berg/Marchand, because I like the look of the other line..

Could work. At this point Sweeney has bought. Makes me think he is going to try and get another forward.
