I dunno I think McCann might flank Geno and Kappy.

Then what's the point of having McCann play LW over Zucker? I would think you want to get Carter used to his line mates. If your long range plan is to have Zucker play LW with Carter then do it now.

Looking at the remaining schedules I think it's highly likely we play Boston in the first round. I think the Isles will slide to 4th with the Pens and Bruins fighting for 2nd.

I'm fine with that. I just want to avoid the Caps in the first round. Let them and the Isle tenderize each other for a round.

I'd much rather play the caps or isles over the Bruins. They're getting healthy and Hall is performing well, so I think they're going to be the toughest out.

I'm not sure there is a preferred 1st round opponent, at least for me. All tough matchups.

I think the Pens struggle against the Bruins more than any other team in this division and maybe the east in general.

Starting soon. They're been doing a whole thing for this being a LGBTQ pride game.

It's NBC and a LGBTQ+ Pride game, so the pre-game is pretty extensive

Do the Sabres have more Scandinavian players than any other team?

Oh definitely. I know our record is better against the Caps and Isle, but I want to avoid a punishing first round. I'm just so sick of the injury bug so I want to avoid the one team that will likely go out of their way to injure players.

Great goal by McCann. I definitely think he needs to go back to Genos left wing.

I really like this Zucker/McCann/Carter line. A lot of high hockey IQ guys who can play/skate well. One of them will have to bounce up to play with Malkin/Kapanen, but I like the three of them together.

To be honest, id throw move McCann up with Geno. Then have Zucker-Carter-Tanev. Then a 4th of Reese-Blueger-Rodriguez

I can't argue against that logic. Caps are going to get their pound of flesh.

McCann looking like a 30 goal scorer like he did first half of last season. Nice thing was his fore-checking created that possession.

I agree, I think McCann is the guy for Malkin/Kapanen, and he has certainly earned it.

I also would consider Carter to play with Malkin. Unfortunately you probably wont have a chance try them together so you'll have to go with McCann.

If Zucker/McCann/Carter continue to play well and you dont want to break them up... you could try ZAR or Rodrigues with Malkin/Kappy. Neither of those guys have the skill, but Malkin has shown throughout his career that he doesnt need a largely skilled guy on both wings.

Erod is playing some great hockey. Zoho should be a fixture in this lineup when the playoffs start.

If you play periods like that, you are going to win a lot of hockey games. I know it is Buffalo, but Buffalo has strung some good games together lately.
