If you posted their RAPM charts side by side and removed the names you wouldn’t know the difference.

If that's true that means Ristolainen has more value then everyone thinks

Last off-season, signed 7 years 9.2 per I think

Edit 8.8 per

I am surprised St. Louis let him walk. They are paying for it now. Vegas in first and St. Louis fighting for a playoff spot.

Vegas will be paying for it later when he is older.

I like the thought of trading Reinhart for a top 2-4 defender and Risto could get us that front net presence who hits and will drop the gloves if needed. That is missing on the team right now. Someone like Simmonds in his prime.

Beat me to it Hank, and he wasn't willing to give a hometown discount.

Can’t blame him either. No state income tax in NV as well.

Bad cap decisions with Bozak, Scandella and Hoffman making about 12m but what do I know.

here's a question i don't know the answer to...

a player is set to make $10m with $5m in bonuses and plays for vegas...we know that 1/2 of his games played out of state are subject to state taxes while the half he plays in-state are not taxed...

is the bonus included in that?...or is that one-time payment subject only to the tax of the state where their team plays?

I think the fact that ST Louis is struggling is more so Binnington isn’t playing at super hero mode anymore. Like for real, he’s a below average starter and the year they won it he posted sub 200 GAA.

If so, get the owner in fla to sign off on huge signing bonuses, save a little cap

scandella was a reaction to the bowmeester injury

hoffman was signed after piets walked

Faulk IMO was the move that clinched them not affording Pieterangelo

Don’t disagree. But the year they won was more so Bennington going god mode. 35 games at under 2 per is pretty amazing. And a lot of times he was making incredible saves to boot. But yes, very much less appealing

Dallas had two empty nets and missed them both. Would have knocked out the Blues in the WCF.

Buffaluck is why the Blues won

ahhh...the skunk whisperer...

he may be right...however, i don't think having him on either of the kids lines would do them much good...in fact, i think it would slow them down...

but, it's not my team

- Michael Pachla

I’ll watch Sam a little closer tonight to see how he became this high end Center. From what i see of him so far he is slow and has very little lateral movement. I really can’t see him playing better at Center over wing and I think this won’t continue into next year.

What would it take, in terms of Sabres assets to pry Kevin Fiala out of The Wild?
Do we have what they would be interested in?

Could Olofsson be a central piece, a 2fer1er?
If so, what/who makes sense?

He would be a very solid WingMan for Cozens on the 2nd line. Put R2 up there and man, the ice would melt under their skates!

Olo and our 2021-2nd? I just don't know

Valid question, no offence taken.

Reinhart has been effective in the middle and by the sounds of it they want to keep him there.

He’s also our best defensive forward so keeping him there and matching him up against other teams top lines makes sense.

We went from having no centers to an abundance of them, it’s the best problem (if you want to call it that) to have.

- Pegullaville

Is he that good defensively though? Idk
