Again the Value is just not there.
Ertz holds little to no value in a trade.

Plus with Hollister in the food the Bills don’t really need to press it unless Philly overpays.

pick 30 is worth 620 points

pick 37 is worth 530 points

the 90 point difference is pick 102

so in essence we would get ertz for an early 4th in this case

I don’t think he’s a “pro bowl” quality TE anymore
And if he’s getting 100targets in our offense, then it’s taking targets away from the WRs

He’s not catching 80passes here

- jdfitz77

like josh wasn't throwing for 4,000 yards last season?

I kid

So what he will open up those WR's more, another security blanket for Allen, and another Red Zone weapon.

We can’t really throw the ball any more than we did last year
There just aren’t 800 targets to go around

How does he hold no value, last year was the first year since 2015 he had under 74 catches. 2019 he had 88, year 2018 he had 116.
- Buff36

Player coming in off of an injury.
He’s 30 which in the NFL is on the wrong side of your career.
Philly in cap crunch.
Been trying to trade him for a while now. Clearly nobody wants to pay even a third.

Why is Buffalo giving up a first for a second and older TE.

P.S. the Eagles are my 2nd team.

If I recall he doesn’t want to negotiate currently.

Edit you only have him for a year.

“ Zach Ertz won’t be seeking a new contract from the team he’s about to get traded to, according to NFL Network.

Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday afternoon that Ertz is OK playing out the final year of his current contract in 2021 and betting on himself to have a bounce-back season.

Ertz is scheduled to earn $8.25 million in 2021 on the final year of a five-year, $42.5 million contract extension he signed with the Eagles in 2016.”

Hard to argue why they didn’t deserve the minutes with these impacts. He had a 68 xG%

It's not 1991 anymore, you act like the guy who just won a Super Bowl for the 7th time isn't 43 years old, seriously.

He just turned 30 last November. He has at least another 5-6 years left in him. If we only have to move back 7 spots for him, and have him for 2 more years at a cap total of 16 million, and he only puts up 500/yds per season, that's still a win.

I just don't understand why anyone would be against only moving back 7 spots for one of the best TE's in the game right now... He isn't a RB. He's a great blocking TE, too.

It's a no brainer. But I doubt it happens at this point regardless so it's all m00t anyway.

Did there own GM screw up those trade talks, and he's only 30, Kelce is older than him. But there your team so you probably know more.

Tom Brady/ The QB position is an anomaly.

They don’t get touched anymore. They can play forever.

He’s on a 1 year deal I do believe and doesn’t want to negotiate.

Don’t you find it strange they haven’t been able to trade him if that’s the case?

He’s lost a step this past year

Teams know

I’d like to get him but he’s on the decline

The Eagles were asking way too much and not budging. Ertz won’t talk contract from everything I’ve read/ heard.

The whole drafting of a QB rocked the boat for everyone Especially after signing Wentz to that deal. It was a mess.

HC got figured out and couldn’t adjust.

I think Wentz back with Reich in Indy is a great move for them n

They wanted a 3rd.

An article yesterday speculated they have to settle for a day 3 pick.

Roseman messes up.

Don’t give up a first for him in any scenario.
