For a guy who is so vocal about his business ventures, you have to see why this question is very absurd, right?

Making the playoffs in the NHL brings several millions of dollars extra for a team just by having the 2 guaranteed home games, if not tens of millions per game.

A savvy businessman such as yourself must be able to see that making the playoffs consistently brings extra revenue, can be spent on improving the team facilities to improve conditioning and experience, as well as being able to afford marquee free agents? Coaches? Scouts?

Surely you must understand that being competitive is good for everyone? Even if you don't win that championship?

For a guy who is so obtuse in his sports fandom, you sure come across as the "Everyone gets a trophy" guy sometimes.

Not everyone gets a trophy dude, and that's okay

Pegula keeps moving up the Forbes list and the Sabres haven’t made the playoffs since he’s been here.

You can sit here and tell me with a straight face that it won’t bother you if the Bills go 13-4 this year, win the East, then lose in the wild card round because at least Terry will make an extra few million from hosting a playoff game ?

They really don't have the room to add 10 drafted players. McBeane has played their cards very well
- Michael Pachla

Well it will if he has to give up are 2nd and 3rd to do it, cause it could affect finding a replacement for Hughes and Addison.

They are the source of some of the most repetitive and annoying radio-rock of the 80's and 90's. I don't care if their style and sound was ironic, it's tepid water on a cold day.

I've heard a lot of bands and acts I like called pretentious over the years. I think REM personifies pretentious.

But you like Radiohead?!?!

He's mumbling nostalgic, garbled nonsense at the bottom of the pool! THIS WILL NOT STAND

- jcragcrumple

So here's the thing about Radiohead. They are simultaneously the most over-rated and under-rated band of all-time. Their technicality in unmatched amoung their peers. They are a musical phenom.

However, for every good album they have, they have a bad one.

Pablo Honey, The Bends, Amnesiac, The King of Limbs and A Moon-Shaped Pool are all dreadful.

OK Computer, KID A, Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows are brilliant.

Thom Yorke might be biggest pile of crap in the music industry - And I know this from personal experience as well as the plethora of evidence in the form of interviews where he's being an absolute twatty cvnt the whole time.

If you want an example of how not to be a rock star, and instead be gigantic wanker who cheats on his wife while she's dying of cancer and leaves her for a younger woman while she's dying, watch Thom Yorke interviews.

If you want an example of how to be a humble, thankful for his fans and career rock star, watch some Robert Smith interviews.

then go and watch the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame from a few years ago, when both The Cure and Radiohead were inducted, and The Cure performed an energetic set flawlessly like they always do, and half of Radiohead blew the ceremony off and the half that showed up to accept it all but said Thom and Jonny were raging didlos for snubbing them of even accepting the award, let alone a performance.

Don't even get me started on Radiohead.

Yeah, there were a few stimulus packages passed into law over the past year and we all got a thousand bucks while people like Uncle Terry got MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of dollars as part of that package.

Corporations make the political sphere go 'round.

I just find it to be completely insane that the rich still somehow got richer during this whole thing.

And we're on here like idiots arguing about Orange Man Bad and Sleepy Joe and the Xylophones like their the hottest acts on the scene right now.

See those rich guys ..... have big companies ...... and employee a lot of people

Those guys lose money ...,. Those companies go down hill and less jobs available

It’s simple.

If Amazon went down the poop hole. How many millions of jobs would be lost?

I don't give a god damn about Terry and his money. In fact, I hope he chokes on a hundred dollar bill tonight.

But as a fan, I understand that making the playoffs not just once in a while, but regularly, is the most important factor in fielding a competitive team consistently. Financially and in prestige, appeal to future players and coaches and staff...

Regardless, the NFL is different because of profit-sharing. Making the playoffs in the NFL doesn't guarantee home playoff games that bring in EXTRA revenue, not just sponsorship/advertisements/endorsements. The revenue from 2 guaranteed home playoff games in the NHL cannot be understated. Sales from concessions, merch, etc... most of it goes in the team's pockets. It means a lot when your team isn't owned by a billionaire.

I am not doing this today. Capitalism does nothing but make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

As far as the bolded part? Not even a million people would lose their job. Amazon employs just shy of 800,000 people. But believe me when I say, Amazon and all of these other major corporations were under no threat of going out of business.

Their Howie Mandel-looking CEO's and "simple like Forest Gump" billionaire frackers needed the corporate stimulus to maintain their lifestyles.

Whores, all of them.

I actually loathed Radiohead so much for the past several years that I only recently started listening to them again. The love/hate started when I saw them in 2009 (loved them for about a decade before that) in Cuyahoga Falls and ate waaaay too many mushrooms and was creeped out by what a weird gigantic vagina their stage-show is and how many dumb sperm swim up their birth canal and get spermicided by Thom Yorke's salty waterways.

I've actually been pretty hipster lately about music. I've been listening to a lot of obscure psychadelic rock form the 70's, experimental jazz/jazz fusion and Japanese Funk and City Pop.

You want an absolute delight of a singer/songwriter to listen to?
