Ertz is probably a middle of the pack starting TE at this point, however in the Bills offence he could/should put up top 10 TE numbers.

I think he would be a great fit.

- Pegullaville

For him to put up top10 TE numbers,
then he’s taking targets away from Diggs & Beasley

It’s not like we can really throw it more than we did last year
There’s only so many targets to go around

Last year:
there were 2 TE’s over 1,000yds- Kelce & Waller
Then no one over 750yds
3 who had over 700yds- Hockensen, Gesecki & Andrews
And 13 guys who had between 500yds & 670yds....
which is less than an 11yds per game difference

So almost half the starting TEs are in that
3rd tier,
and there’s not much difference from the
top of that tier to the bottom of it

I don’t think it’s worth spending the Cap space on that kinda of guy- especially with only so many targets to go around
Seems like Ertz would end up in the middle of that pack
And like i said before-
If he’s getting enough targets to be towards the top of that 3rd tier,
then it means less opportunities for our WRs

Plus....
even with the drops, Knox was on pace for over 400yds last season
A few less drop & a few more opportunities, and he could jump into that 500yds + club
And we wouldn’t have to use any extra Cap space to do it

Also....
Hollister was on pace to be in the 500yds + club 2years ago, so he’s got some receiving talent as well that we can use

All that said....
i don’t hate Ertz if we get him dirt cheap & can make the $$$ work
He’s just not what he used to be imo

That would be interesting
I’d prefer Harris from ‘bama, but Etienne is an explosive player for sure

Where are these rumors coming from???

I don't know why they stopped using Blur.

All-time great travesty.

BTW, just bought some new gear and meant to post it here. Finally got myself a telecaster Deluxe. I actually went with Squire over Fender in this case because they no longer make the black on black Fender Tele Deluxe, only Squire has that color. But it allowed me to buy a decent acoustic for once and I got a Takamine with a string-thru bridge. I god damn hate the pins but 95% of acoustic guitars have the pin bridge. These are actual photos of the guitars I received, even though they look like stock photos.

Got them from Sweetwater. They are so much better than Guitar Center it's not even cool. They actually have multiple photos of multiple guitars of the same make/model that you can look at and choose the one you like the wood grains on best.

I also bought a little Yamaha synth/keyboard and a Jasmine acoustic that I got a sweet deal on from Woodwind and Brasswind. Went from a basic, entry-level Jasmine that was about $120 and ended up only costing me $90. Sounds a lot brighter than the Takamine, even, but the difference between a 500 dollar guitar and a 100 dollar guitar is night and day once you have them right next to each other.

The Squire Tele Deluxe is actually the most expensive Squire you can get, so it's really only a couple notches below the Chinese Fenders, and I'd argue even slightly better for being made in Indonesia, which actually produces some really decent guitars these days.

Gonna save up for a Mexican Tele next, probably.

Trading for ertz is prime patriots move when they had Brady

The patriots Always would squeeze the last bit of veteran talent out of star players.

If the player shows up and has 1 or 2 good games. That’s all they need to do.

- Sabretooth9

I like this point of view as well. Need more than 1 big game though for the picks and cap hit.

Just not a big ertz guy. Knox is Josh's buddy as well....

I still like knox. I thought post covid he was good. But it can’t hurt to get ertz for a mid round pick. At this point no way I give a 1st or 2nd.

I mentioned it before, I knew the guy responsible for the Sabres media department. That pile of crap goal song they use now was all his doing. He's basically a gigantic jaggoff. I just clicked his twitter, I guess he works in the Bills media department now too and he's a "Black feminist" now and "doesn't understand why pitbulls got such a bad rep" and I know he used to have a podcast with his white girlfriend where they couldn't shut up about being in an interracial relationship, literally the entire podcast was them verbally masturbating themselves over it as if it's somehow so rare and exemplary that we've somehow time-warped to 1950 all over again and still haven't had a Civil Rights movement.

I mean, when I left Lockport, most of the young couples were mixed, and out here in Columbus, all you see are mixed couples. you even see the ultra-rare Black woman with a White dude out here regularly. Yeah man, it's super cool, but lets not act like it makes you more special than anyone, especially if you went out of your way to be in an inter-racial relationship just so you could tell everyone on a podcast about it.

Anyway, I was working on some short films with him for a summer, and I had no "scenes" to shoot one weekend so I told him I was going to go do flood relief in Owego, New York after the last big Susquehanna flood out there and his response was "I'm beginning to question your commitment to this project" to which I went absolutely ballistic on him, let him know I was waking up at 4am every Saturday and Sunday for the past 2 months, was spending time and money on something I was not even a main part of (long story short, I went from holding the boom-mic, to being an "extra" to having him write a role into his project for me because I nailed my audition but all the roles had already been filled) and he had the gall to give me poop for doing flood relief? I told him to go (frank) himself and then got labelled as a racist by the rest of the crew because somehow telling a person to go (frank) themselves is racist if he's black.

God forbid what they would call me if they read this post, but I'm sorry, you're a fool, I'm going to write word-for-word why you're that fool and you can honestly call me whatever you want because I know what I am and what I am not.

And I am NOT in an inter-racial relationship, so clearly I'm a racist and a Nazi.

Funny couple years ago he was thought of as the 3rd best TE in football. Bad year with a ankle injury dropped him that much.

Yeah I always liked Takamine. didn't realize they were owned by ESP now, as well as Ovation. I love Ovation acoustics but they're having supply issues, so I went with the Takamine.

My other electric is a 1960's vintage Kent 820, this is stock, but the exact model (only I put a Gibson-style bridge on it and it's missing the whammy... and the electronics are in serious need of repairs, only the neck pickup works and it's all fuzzy):
