He absolutely has value, but even dinosaurs like Brian Burke know how bad Ristolainen actually is.

I think it's possible to say, you know what, I love watching Ristolainen play hard and relentless, but I fully acknowledge he's overpaid and also bad at defense.

He doesn’t even get the tough matchups anymore and he posts god awful numbers

He doesn’t even give you good offense

He’s 74th among D men in scoring despite PP1 time and tons of minutes

I think some dumb team would trade a 2nd this and next year for him. Use the money to sign someone new. And use those picks on a goalie and a RHD

This is very exciting

I can't imagine why we would expose Risto. We would instead trade him for an asset and expose someone other than Borgen, Joker and Dahlin.

Coki is very nice, don't get me wrong, the beach is a little rough. Magen Bay will cost you a extra 5 bucks, but it's nice. St. Thomas is just a fun place.

Risto is top 7 or 8 in many defenseman (offensive) career categories.
