Stitched it up, and played through the pain. Love the answer. Had no excuse not to, didn't know it was broke.

Interesting that cozensons and girgensons are rated similarly in your post.

Love #24's game.

they're similar like a ribeye and a london broil both come from cows. So, sure.

Going back to an earlier conversation....

I went was listening to the Instigators while on a jog. Rivet's comments were absolutely not pro-veteran, anti-rookie. He just thought that there is no way that you could start a season without a single veteran on the blue line. I don't necessarily disagree... but you can't keep Risto here for one more year as a security blanket while losing Borgen. If need be you go get another guy on a short-term deal.

He also made a good point about McCabe - we already have 3 LHD here next year. Where would he fit?

Letting go of McCabe to keep Bryson is a poor decision.

The difference between Eichel 1C and Reinhart at 1C is Cozens at 2C vs Girgensons at 2C.
- TheSabresTaco

According to someone here, that would equate to no difference. Or so I've red somewhere

To which I would say: why not? I want the people in charge to choose the best 6 based on talent, not years played

I agree with that. The other part of his rationale is that Risto plays the most minutes, which is no longer true. I'd take my chances with the kids. Sign a respectable vet to be the 7th guy.

I honestly don't see any wrong choice out of the 3 I believe all of them will be successful in their own way

Do tell why?
I like McCabe as well, and Iike what I have seen from Borgen's short stint here.

McCabes injured knee is no joke though. For that reason, I would look to a shorter term with him.
Also, they play opposite sides, the bigger issue to me is what to do with Risto. He isn't good enough for 1st pairing, and too expensive for 3rd pairing, while Joker should be a 2nd pairing and Borgen a 3rd. Issue is finding Dalin's partner on 1st pairing to turn him loose.

it's easy to find blah d men that put up 13 points a year, injury prone, and not very good in their own end

for those that hate the girgens contract, giving mccabe anything for 2.5 mil a year would be just as bad
