Idk.... if u think about it, the trade can be broken down into 2 parts:

1- KC gets brown for a late 1st
2- KC gets a 2nd & 6th for a 3rd, 4th, & 5th

Seems quite reasonable for both sides imo

Kansas city amateur scouting department when they see they traded a 1st, 3rd and 4th

Is that Andy Reid’s cousin running that department?

Could always trade back with their 2nd rounder and recoup some more darts

Hope Baltimore isn't targeting harris at 27.

He's a game changer. Generally I'm against picking rbs in the 1st but, our offense would be more unstoppable

New mock for the draft.

Lets get Eklund!

- DirtyDan

It’s been thought for a while now that the top tier of the NHL draft was 4-5 players deep
But based on this, with Johnson & Edvinsson jumping ahead of Beniers, looks like that top tier could be expanding to include 7 players- possibly even 8 guys, bc I’ve seen Clarke very highly rated by quite a few.
I’ve even seen Wallstedt rated in the top5 by a few as well

It’ll be very interesting to see which way we go
Especially if we pick 1st, where it seems Power is becoming the consensus to a degree- even though it seems most of us want a forward

But they got back a starting tackle & a 2nd

I think it’s a very fair trade for both teams
No winner or loser here on this one

You like him better than Etienne? I like Asante Samuel or Etienne for the Bills

They got Dobbins last year- who is already turning into a stud

Bills screwed up by passing on him last year & then wasting a 3rd on Moss

Harris > Etienne imo, but i like both a lot
The situation they go to could determine their effectiveness- especially early in their careers

Had the same discussion with my buddy.

I think harris adds the extra Derrick henry factor.

Gigantic hard to tackle powerhouse.

Probably be gone regardless.

Bill's should draft another db. 👍

D line , maybe a star replacement/ fill in. Not pressuring pat m. cost the playoff game IMO

Moss was injured, so I'm not sure if it's entirely fair to judge him on this past season.

Singletary just doesn't really do anything great.
He's good and likeable, but not really a top blitz pick up guy, hands guy out of the backfield , short yardage guy or break away speed guy. 🤔

All of the above
But it’s also that we barely tried to run the ball last year too

Singletary was massively underused
If we wanna throw the ball that much, then at least include him in the passing game

And just that we’re even talking about possibly taking a RB in the 1st should tell us just how average Moss was
He’s not terrible by any means,
but we can’t keep investing good picks on RBs every year

Led the league in yds/carry as a rookie bc of all the 20ish yard runs
He isn’t a top back in the league, but he could be a good part of a committee if the other RB was “good” instead of “average”

Yeah I think so too. Pretty sure Samuel will be there because of his size. Or Farley if he falls because of injury. Wouldn't be mad at either of those. I do like Etienne's speed though. Imagine him in the screen game in a 5-wide set

Harris looked like he had breakaway speed too though
What were each of their 40 times like?

Not sure. I wasn't trying to start poop with Boss regarding Harris vs. Etienne. I was genuinely curious because I've heard a lot more about Etienne than Harris.

singletary

over 1900 yards in his first 2 seasons in a split backfield with about 5 and a half yards per touch

not bad for only being in the nfl for 2 years from a small school

Have no problem with Singletary, think it's more scheme. If they don't trade out of the 1st would rather go CB or DE.

It also feels like Josh almost never even looks at his running backs in the passing game, let alone throw to them.

I think that's the next step in his career progression: Getting the ball out of his hand faster and taking the little 5 to 7 yard passing gains to his running backs and keep the drives going.
