I get it, but you are talking about one of the best metrics defensman, who plays in all situations, and over the last two years is just under a ppg player. Sorry, those dudes cost. Someone will.

he's not good

those same coaches that love him, also played risto 25 minutes a night

can't have it both ways

- homiedclown

You can though, else Jack should be shot to the moon too because Olofsson can't score at 5v5 with him.

So 2 weeks ago when it was 70 degrees I put up my 25' canopy that covers my back deck.

Today I am taking it down. Somehow this is Ralph's doing.

If they can land Reilly, I'm all for it. Doubt it happens. Same with Savard.

savard already playing 23 minutes a night for the bolts

originally thought he'd be a great d-partner for Dahlin, but with the way Dahlin/Joker have been playing, might not be necessary

nope, every reason the risto haters talk about he needs to go, the same can be said for mccabe

only difference, risto puts up points and does hit somebody

they can both go for all I care

mccabe has been blah when not injured

IMO, the defense needs to be structured in a way that enables stout defense combined with offensive accumen. To accomplish that, pairing a sturdy Dman with and offensively gifted Dman is my answer.

-It is why I continue to point out for 2 years now, the 1st Pairing RhD is not in this roster to be Dahlin's partner...and why I have mentioned investing in one, like Savard or Hamilton...there are others I'm sure.
-I also think McCabe provides that for Joker on 2nd Pairing, by having McCabe play like Scandella ... stay home, move the puck to Joker and let him transition up ice. Strength and strength leveraged.
Do the same on 3rd Pairing with Borgen staying home and Bryson transitioning and joining in the rush.

It's a nice combo of puck movers and sturdy Dmen.

I would never want to pay more than 7 for a defenseman... just not worth it.

What? Outside of a franchise center, there isn't a more valuable player on the ice.

Drew wasnt paid till after the cups.
Nashville could never get over the hump because they never had enough offense.
Vegas has peter who didnt get paid till he won the cup with ST LOUIS
Was carlson paid before the cup?
I stated Hedmans name.

You said name a successful team. It appears your definition of success is winning the cup or bust. In that case, you've severely limited options for choosing, but also made a disingenuous discussion.

In the "learn something every new every day" category, I didn't know there was such thing as a charge of "unintentional murder".
