espn must have updated the national league stats, team stats were not updated

guess he will have to creep within 1 of ovi next week

Human's make mistakes, I'm mature enough to not insinuate that you're a liar.

Glad to see the Sabres beat the Bruins.

Probably hate them more than any other franchise.
Maybe the dolphins, cowboys in the 2nd tier

* you sammers must be floating on cloud 23 šŸ˜‰

Depends entirely on Dahlin. He could be right up there around 7... Joker at 3, Mitts 2.5m, McCabe 2.5m, Asplund 1.5m, Borgen 1.5m. We're at it without a few forwards and a backup goalie. Yeah, somethings gotta give.
- RhinoFan

Could very well be wrong, but can't see Joker or Mitts getting that much, McCabe is coming of a pretty bad leg injury think he's a pretty big ? mark, but I could see Dahlin close between 5 to 7mill a year.

I had way more fun with you regarding Cozens than our Reinhart battle over the summer. That was exhausting.

Trade. It.

Because itā€™s not worth the next contract.

Itā€™s not worth opening Borge. Or Bryson to expansion.

For the love of all things hockey. Trade. It.

- Gr8daygo

Even if we did trade Risto, weā€™d still have to leave 1 of them unprotected
So whether we protected 1 of them, or none of them, we could still lose one

someone win that reinhart autograph jersey and send boss a picture of it
- homiedclown

Reinhart should be traded though- he only had 3goals tonight

If only he was TOUGHER or at least punched some faces....
then heā€™d have scored more & weā€™d have won 11-4

Ullmark and Rhino are gonna get the most, say 13m to those 2, you think the rest are gonna eat up 17m.
- Buff36

Move Miller for pennies and Risto

Go with the defense we had tonight + 1 more free agent

Thatā€™s atleast 8-9 mill. Without looking it up

Totally agree

Either keep building around Jack,
or go total rebuild & trade everyone 24 & over that we can get decent value for

I would move on from McCabe

I agree mitts / joker wonā€™t get much

How do you also pay dahlin? How much is he actually worth?? Post Ralph heā€™s been amazing. Iā€™m fine with 5-7 mill

Sure.... but how much do we have to overpay a free agent to come here??
If itā€™s someone like Dougie Hamilton, then all that Cap Space (& then some) likely disappears

Good teams always find that room.

If you're him do you wait 1 more year to get that Mega contract and pick any team of your choosing plus the team you grew up with

What do you do

Good question ..... I am more worried about opening up cap space. Then figure that stuff out

The defense we had tonight might very well be the defense for next year.

Maybe ..... we draft a d 1st overall? I know Gerbe mentioned bernier. But the mock drafts still say Owen power is a contender for 1st overall.

I canā€™t say what Iā€™d do cause Iā€™ll never be in that position.

However what I do know he is Sabres property for at minimum one more season.

They could work out an extension for him, if not at least if they do deal him we are selling high.

Let him and then the team asks the Arbitrater for a 2yr deal.
- Buff36

They don't have that option when the player is 1 year from UFA.

Someone posted a mock draft earlier from NHL.com that had Beniers going 7th
Before that, it was generally that the first 4 or 5 guys could go in pretty much any order-
but that Top Tier might be expanding to 7-9 players now

Power does seem to be creating a bit of a consensus as the top pick though
I wonā€™t be surprised regardless of who we take
And i really havenā€™t seen any of these guys enough to even have much of an option outside of the bits Iā€™ve read about them
The idea of Beniers seems like a really good idea to me- but it also reminds me a lot of how Girgensons sounded coming out too
Power doesnā€™t seem like a top pair lock either though & kinda reminds me of what i read about Ristolainen when he was being drafted
Most of these guys seem to have a wide range of outcomes for how they could develop

I think Iā€™d be ok trading back as far as 9 if it gets us an additional 1st in next years draft, which looks to be a really good one- at least thatā€™s what everyone keeps saying

Samuelsson is definitely one of those old young guys the police use to try and see which stores will sell underage kids beer. He looks like he turned 35 on his 21st birthday.

Bryson is exempt from the expansion draft.
