I don't think you are wrong, unfortunately, that they won't rectify the situation themselves. But, that is not precisely what he said. Add, "...that's for sure. But, we can play hard and protect each other." on to the end of your quote.
Again, I don't see him sending guys over the boards like the 70's. But, you know he's not coming out to the media and saying, "I told them that Wilson better be leaving on a stretcher and I put a $1000 bounty on his head!"
Let's just hope there is some sort of answer that is distinctly tied to what has happened.

I would literally have a different guy stick him in some effective manner every single time he comes out. Make him sit down and get the trainer, and then do it again as soon as he's ready for another shift.
