I would literally have a different guy stick him in some effective manner every single time he comes out. Make him sit down and get the trainer, and then do it again as soon as he's ready for another shift.

They really don’t even need to have them retain. His contract will end right when we’ll need it to end. I was proposing something very similar without Tkachuk.

Lindholm is a no for me. I remember reading in the CGY blog after they got bounced from the playoffs how soft he was and how there was no emotion from him/next level. Not the guy I think we need to target right now.

Regardless, that package seems like a massive overpayment to me. Lucic is a nothing in terms of trade value, so even at 50% retained there's no way he's worth more than one asset. That makes it 2 assets each for Tkachuk and Lindholm. Kravtsov and Lundkvist are arguably the most talented guys in the deal, but we are giving up twice as much?

When youre dealing from a position of strength for a position of weakness, you usually overpay. Especially when the chips youre dealing are potential and not proven.

Either way, its ludicrous to even discuss because its not happening.

The whole reverse engineering the disciplinary action based on whether there was an injury instead of being based on the action/intent is so dumb. If that was how the criminal justice system worked attempted murder wouldn’t be a crime
