it's unbelievable the lack of concern that the league has show for one of it's star players after his head hit the ice

it just goes to prove this league doesn't actually care about head injuries, they just care about covering their asses over potential future concussion lawsuits and want to be able to point out that they took steps to help the situation

What's strange to me is that NOBODY is addressing that Wilson slew-footed him and pulled his hair like a little b1tch. Everyone just says that he threw him down. He did - by pulling his hair and kicking his skates out from under him. Obviously he has a huge size and strength advantage over Panarin, but the way he threw him down was disgusting. And obviously the league is fine with it.

I do love the idea that there needs to be a COMMITTEE of some sort to dish out suspensions. Why is it one hack that decides it?

Someone suggested having a former player like Kariya or Savard as part of a committee. That would be great. They get it, they know the affects of it.

It should really be 3-4 people that come up with the suspensions, not just one.

I think that is a great idea. Some stars with real world experience can figure it all out. Not some clown who played a few hundred games.

IMO the Panarin slam was worst than the Buchy punch. His reaction to (?) Buchy for being on his stick, who knows but Panarin in no way shape or form was a threat to him, it was just a scrum, there is no way he can justify the body slam, this isnt the (frank)ing WWE. He should have been suspended at least 7-10 games for that.

It was trash. Fans of all other teams hate Wilson. If he body-slammed Crosby the way he body-slammed Panarin, the NHL might have expelled him forever from the NHL.
