Coleman 3x3 would be an awesome deal for this team.

Jeff Skinner played two shifts in the third period in an effort to 'shorten the bench' for the players that provided the most impact to be out there and apparently there's not a lot of kickback. It's like he gets lazy when he's stuck with bad players. - TheSabresTaco
IRRELEVANT 😀😀😀😀

He really turned out to be a poop head. I liked his tenacious play a lot when he arrived.
When a players production falls off a cliff for multiple years. He should be cut without penalty to the team. I'm sure that's a bit drastic but something needs to be put in place.
What a bummer! - Carubba-Kaleta
Well, we're stuck with him, so it's up to the team to utilize (and motivate) him to perform. Unless you feel like using your 2021 1st to shed him. Yeesh.

How about Nick Foligno? What's the cost?
UFA, brings leadership, size, toughness and lineage...
5 years 5.5 -6.5 million?
Also savard and blake Coleman.
2 not break the bank free agents. - Boss34
5 years at $6M per for a player that will be 34 at the start of next season?
FWIW, the predicted deal for Foligno is 2 years at $3M per. |

Me too, but coleman is gonna be expensive.
Especially with back to back rings.
Foligno would be the veteran presence, if eichel is moved. Maybe even a coin toss with risto for captain 😉 |

He does.
Everything about Skinner's game is always about him.
He gets the puck and tries to get it on net from anywhere. Otherwise the play just dies. He does nothing else of significance. |

He typically provides positive play on the ice, but yes the guy needs to do something in the box score.
Whoever the next hire is needs to be the guy who can reach Jeff. - TheSabresTaco
Its skimmer fault. Trying to blame the current guy and get the next guy to fix him. |

Watching him play was a ton of fun when he was with Jack. When that was taken away from him, it's like a piece of his soul was stripped too. There's flashes of that player without Jack, but I don't even know what to think of him anymore. We're stuck with him, they need to do their jobs to find a good fit for Jeff, and Jeff needs to be responsible for himself as well.

It's a shame but it's what the coaching staff said about him BEFORE they traded him. He got handed too much too early. It was too easy for him, and he was never held accountable for the mistakes he made when he was younger.
Now he doesn't know how to do anything different.

What's nick foligno gonna get @ his 1st kick at ufa?
73 points a few years back
.5 point guy his career
Intangibles up the wazoo
Didnt realize nick was 33.
Maybe 3 or 4 years at 4 or 5 million?
Every team wants a guy like nuck foligno - Boss34
He had 73 points in the 2014-2015 season. He hasn't posted more than 35 since the 2016-2017 season. |

When he's motivated he plays with a tenacity that's a lot of fun to watch. They're stuck with him, and they need to figure out how to get a portion of his contract worth of play out of him. And I'm only blaming Jeff, in case there's a bad opinion in here that thinks otherwise.

Yea spot on, seems to only care about Jeff.
He needs a great playmaker to keep him off the puck until he's open for a shot.
Him lugging the mail is figure skate move and high wrist shot with no traffic. Goalie easily makes a save and the defenseman clear the puck.
I see it a lot, although he does surprise with a pass now and then. Sucks because they were forced to sign him. He knew it and took them to the cleaners. |

While I agree, I'm sick of paying 'leaders' to not be able to play too. I don't need John Tavares to join Buffalo, but what about a guy like Landeskog, who will never leave Colorado in his prime, but someone along those lines.
