They’ve got Lui on the Taxi Squad and they have left Bärtschi in the minors all season. And even though none of us ever want to see them at least they are NHL depth players.

They can’t complain that Boyd, Highmore, Veesseey aren’t quality depth guys, and Grey-O-Vac looked decent in limited time last year.

This is the quality depth they put together. 🤷‍♂️

Nothing against Boyd, but if they sign him sooner than 10 days after free agency begins I will drive over to Vancouver and poop on Benning’s doorstep. That will, I’m sure, qualify as essential travel.

There will be so many “Boyd’s” available it isn’t even going to be funny. Plus there’s the little nugget of Beagle still being on the books and we definitely don’t want to push him up the lineup.
