I doubt anything happens. If they make a call up last minute with a name you never heard of, yah you might not dress him. But even then, Tom would rather dress and make it a show.

I’m not at all. The NHL behaves in a similar way to how refs officiate a game. While it does happen, it’s not super common to see the refs call another penalty against a team while they’re already on a kill, and you almost NEVER see the refs call a third penalty while a team is already on the kill.

Going by that logic, to me the NHL uses the same line of thinking. Since Wilson already had a seven game suspension, we clearly can’t hand out another one as severe.

That’s just how I think they view it.

Remember the triple puck over glass by Pitt in the playoffs a few years back. I was mad but it was pretty funny. Obviously you have to call delay of game though.
