But they didn’t keep winning every game! Sabres beat NYI, Vegas lost, Flyers beat Pit. This could be the coming of the apocalypse. - Canada Cup
Leafs can get their final few game slump of the season now right before the playoffs. I have the game on in the background but don't really watch them right now.
What happened to Foligno?
Leafs undefeated when he gets a point. |

Nice 'defending' by Nylander on the Caufield goal.. (puckwatching again).
And Campbell back to his old self again - a solid backup, but definitely not a NHL starting goalie.
I really hate that Leafs might end up playing the Jets instead of the Habs in the first round. A playoffs series vs the Jets is as interesting as the weather in Winnipeg. - MaximusAurelius
The game never should have gone to OT, and Marner and/or Matthews should have ended it. Not sure your hatred for Nylander is warranted here.
Campbell back to his old self after one game? A little recency bias maybe?
Jets vs Leafs would be a pretty entertaining series IMO. There seems to be some real dislike brewing on both sides that could make for some fun games. Leafs vs Habs would be classic.
I don't care who they play in the first round, as long as they make it out of it. |

He literally skated to the front of the net and stopped, looked like he tweaked something when he did it. |

I assumed they took him from the game to be cautious because they have that luxury.

Jets or Habs would be good. Habs just because the long standing, original six rivalry but as you said, Jets and Leafs are more heated right now.

Looking at the standings, just the North and the rest need seeding for the playoffs.
The North taking forever to settle the playoffs, does that mean they are a garbage division or tougher competition? I can't decide. |

All you do is brag about how much hockey you watch, and then simultaneously complain about how boring Leaf hockey is.
Just quit the charade and cheer for a team that you actually enjoy watching.

Well we've had more success overall vs the Oilers... somehow we seem to be good at stopping McDavid and Draisatl.
Matthews just scores every (frank)ing game against us.
But, Leafs vs Habs remains the epic moment we all want to see. |

I would much rather see it in the second round.
Win/win.

As a leaf fan, I'm truly afraid of the Jets. Even with their slump. They have the forwards and the goalie to beat the leafs enough.
I don't think the oilers are good enough beyond McDavid. If I'm a coach I tell my team, make the rest of the team beat us. Shut McDavid down and the game gets easier.

I didnt watch game. Lost to the dirty Habs
Jets tied now with them
Leafs can beat either team. nbd - senstroll
I find any Sens fan, who has a Tkachuk on their team, calling the Habs "dirty" is laughable. |

Sorry, pal... Campbell played well last night, to pin the L on him is just sour grapes. |

I would think coaches will say the same thing about Matthews. But I agree that the Oilers aren’t there yet. Holland needs a good summer to elevate the team. But at the end of the day, the oilers have a McDavid. You never know. |

You know who's dirty?
Tom Wilson.
(frank)ing remove this guy from the NHL already. Punching a guy's head when he's already down. |

Allan is the reason why the Leafs didn't get the W.
Marner and AM34 somehow messing up a 2-0 breakaway in the OT frame didn't help either. |
