I don't understand people who don't seem to appreciate the significance of a potential Leafs v. Habs playoff series.

I am more interested in how many goals Matthews gets.

Maybe the excitement will hit if the Leafs win a playoff series. Until then, I am kind of meh about the whole thing this year.

If Leafs lose in the first round, then we can pretend this season never happened

LOL Its kinda like investing in crypto currency like bitcoin. just sell it on kijijji before things go back to normal
Last summer my kids' summer camps were cancelled.

They were moping around, so Mrs. Wedgie came up with the idea of letting them build a dog house. I wasn't thrilled, because we've spent quite a bit of time and money making the backyard look nice - but of course I was outvoted 1-0 by my wife.

Anyhoo, dropped about $200 on 2X4s and sheets of chip board. Thank goodness, I got the idea to not buy paint or shingles until they actually made the damn thing.

Of course, they never did jack, other than cutting some of the 2X4s into proper lengths.

It's now all in my storage shed, where it is a giant pain in the ass.

I'd love to be able to just throw it all out, but it's now worth $47,000, so I don't have the heart to put it on the curb.

I've stopped worrying about anyone who doesn't want to see a Habs-Leafs playoff series.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't cross the street to piss on him if he was on fire.

What the hell is with people on here?

Last week it was somebody insulting Molson Export.

This week people don't care about Leafs vs. Habs.

Has the world gone crazy, Cupsie?

I don't want you peeing on me anyway Wedgie. That's Zezsie's thing

Just found it tough to get excited about hockey this season. Maybe the dozens of games against poopty teams didn't help.

I get it but some will shun while others want to help. He doesn’t have to live in pain and without hope. I was where he is now once too. Aeth, go to this site and click on How Dianetics Can Help. But don’t wait. The playoffs are coming.

I hear ya (especially about the Zezzie thing).

I really didn't like the multiple games in a row. I'm not complaining - I get that it was a crazy year, and certain steps had to be taken. But it did take away some of the excitement.

But on the whole, I've enjoyed the season. Part of it is the fact that I've got absolutely nothing else going on, so it gives me something to focus on. But a big part has also been how fun this team is to watch - they play an exciting brand of hockey (fully prepared to have that bite us in the ass come playoff time - I know Islanders fans are reading this, hello) - and it's nice when your winning percentage is above .667.

Definitely better than the nothing else going on in life these days. Matthews' play has been compelling, for a 3rd tier player I mean.

They’ve been great to watch - both exciting and, for the most part, responsible.

It’s frustrating not being able to gauge how they stand against the rest of the league other than knowing they suck but the flip side is that they’ve got a very good shot at getting to the final four. Once there, anything goes. Their confidence could be through the roof. Every legitimate team could have collapsed, who knows.

Obviously, they’re still the Leafs and the cost of emotional investment is the danger of turning of Roger Roeper. But it’s the best show until the Jays collapse

Normally I’d be shifting my attention to golf just like the leafs, but I can’t even do that.

Boy I hope the leafs go on a deep run.

I wonder what the odds are of him not getting injured before the playoffs start and right away in the playoffs. The Jets will go after him hard in the first round

I really have tried to be a Blue Jays fan again.

I just can't do it.

Maybe in August I'll listen on the radio.

Maybe.

If Matthews gets hurt by a dirty play we’ll probably be losing simmonds for the season too.
