As opposed to without a brain?
Which would be way more impressive. |

Rangers aren't really known for having some toughness. I mean Brendan Smith will fight anyone but I've never seen him actually win a fight. At least not while he was playing for the Red Wings. Kreider? Maybe. - gergeswillems
Rangers need to add this guy for next season to fight Wilson.

Well we've had more success overall vs the Oilers... somehow we seem to be good at stopping McDavid and Draisatl.
Matthews just scores every (frank)ing game against us.
But, Leafs vs Habs remains the epic moment we all want to see. - Scabeh
Matthews scores every game.
If he didn’t have that wrist injury where he seemed to just stop shooting for 7-8 games I think he could of been close to 50 goals.

It’s been 24 hours since shot number 2 of Pfizer. So far no reaction at all...hoping it stays that way. - RickJames77
Awesome!
Sounds like shot #3 will be a thing (12 months later?).
Hoping this isn't something that needs to be part of the annual flu shot package, but if it is, so be it. |

Don't get me wrong, I think Tom Wilson deserves a suspension for the shots to Buchnevich's head while he was on the ice but the reactions here have been so incredibly precious it makes me laugh. "Look how aghast I am at that mongrel", he exclaimed while clutching his pearls tightly.
Panarin learned why there are weight classes in the UFC. He gave up 50lbs and about 5 inches. - mjones242
He grabbed his head without a helmet and smashed it onto the ice. Twice.
Most players can grab a guys head and use gravity to put it the the ice...but players have respect for not only a mans career but his life and health.
It was an absolute no no. You don’t intent to injure like that. |

Thursday another WSH-NYR game.
Not sure if Rangers have a few goons in their lineup, but they should definitely go after the players that stepped up to defend Wilson.
at a certain point of time, the teammates should just step away and leave it to 3-4 guys on the opposing team to give the guy what he deserves.
As long as team mates continue to defend Tom Wilson's absurd behaviour, Tom Wilson will continue with his absurd behaviour.
Take away the instigator rule, and let the players self-regulate. - MaximusAurelius
No you do it the right way. You dress a goon or two and have them dummy the Caps stars. Easy peasy.

Wasn’t Panarin just coming to the assistance of Buchenevich? Was he supposed to wait for a weight-appropriate teammate to show up? - Canada Cup
I'm not disputing any of those things.
I'm saying that I'm completely unshocked that Wilson was able to body slam a man who weighs 50lbs less than him so easily.
I appreciate Panarin's bravery - and commend him for it - but the obviousness of the result was obvious.
Wilson is one of those players who is skilled, mean, and sometimes goes into a blood-rage. He's just another in a long line of guys who play well past the edge -- and has been rewarded for it.
Calls for "life time" bans (as Ek has proposed) are (frank)ing absurd,
Having said that, he should miss the rest of the season and the playoffs. Depending if the Caps get ousted in the 1st round, maybe he misses a few games to start the next season. |

If you grab someone’s hair on skates and pull down the player is going straight for the ice...no matter who it is.

I'll be the first to admit that I haven't consistently taken the flu shot over the years. I may start now as a result of this pandemic.
Having said that, I don't believe people should be forced/coerced to take one. I just hope that enough people do take it and it has some affect on the propagation of this (and other) viruses. |

I did not miss you calling reactions of it precious
Both players careers could of been ended...yes it was that serious. Panarin is very lucky some of his shoulder took some of the fall...but we also don’t know the extent of the injury yet. This could be very bad.
Wilson deserves the hammer. I wouldn’t be opposed to 40-50 games. |

Hey bud, I'm calling for a (frank)ing suspension.
Suspensions are handed out to people who cross the line.
If Panarin or Buchnevich never play hockey again as a result of this melee than, sure, throw the book at Wilson.
Better?
Edit: and no, a man 50lbs larger and stronger would not be slammed with the same ease. |

I haven't seen a complete disrespect and intent to injure since Raffi Torres on Hossa.
And the fact he did it to two separate players on the same play? This is very serious. He could have ended Panarins career.
Concussions are very serious. You dont slam a mans head into the ice and you dont cross check someones neck when they are down.
He will get the hammer here. It will be the longest suspension in league history which was 30 games. |

Not to brag or anything, but a few times I completed all the levels of Breakout on my Blackberry.
It just takes you back to level 1, but at a faster pace.
I franking loved my Blackberries. You can't beat the physical keyboard.

She has a huuuuuuuuuuuuge franking pitch on Thursday - she's terrified she's going to crash today or tomorrow. |
