How many games do you think the Habs are winning in the regular season?
- Canada Cup

6 games left...I say 3 games.

I would be VERY surprised to see MTL jump over the Jets in the standings and they know it, that's why they are resting Price, Weber, Tatar, Gallagher and Byron.

CLEARLY SPEZZA IS BETTER THAN LAINE!
- Scabeh

Here's a fun stat for you:

Here's the league leaders for 5v5 pts/60 minutes (minimum of 10 games played):

Connor McDavid: 3.30

Brad Marchand: 3.20

Jason Spezza: 3.13

Sebastion Aho: 3.10

Mitchy Marner: 3.05

Awesome Matthews: 3.02

Then a looooooong drop:

Joe Thornton: 1.45

Another drop so long your ears start popping:

Patrick Laine and Jimmy Vesey: 1.00

Your "Hey Spatso" stat of the day:

Spezza and Laine are tied for goals.

Spezza has ten more assists than Laine.

- Atomic Wedgie

Wow that's brutal for Laine. For 8 times the salary or whatever.

Makes sense. Having those guys rested is more important than busting ass over Oiler versus Leafs

My older brother is a Habs fan. Even though we were both born in Leafs territory. He jumped on the 70s Habs bandwagon. Needless to say, he can go (frank) himself. After what I endured while this fairweather bumhole talked poop, in my world this potential series isn't just a series. It's about right and wrong.

what if the Leafs are the Leafs....and blow it in the first round? You are setting yourself up for....a fantastic summer. If the Leafs crush MTL...as expected, won't surprise anybody.

I cheered for the Habs in the early 80s.

They weren't in the same division as the Leafs, the skills they had were unbelievable, every Leafs fan needed a second team, and the Battle of the Beer was fantastic.

Leafs hold the fate of the Habs in their hands.. If they want to play the Jets instead, they could let Montreal win all three games..

Jets have a much easier schedule than MTL but it's true, Leafs could greatly help MTL by letting them win the last 3 matchups

it would make it more interesting to play them in the 2nd round.. Plus, I think the Habs can beat the Oilers, I don't think the Jets can beat Edmonton..

Habs play EDM very well, they've been able to shut down the duo except for one game

If the Leafs get past the Habs, what is the over/under, in nano-seconds, how long it takes for Vancouver and Ottawa fans to start trolling about how the Leafs were gifted a series win.

I think so as well.. Montreal has a better defense than Winnipeg does.. It should be a better matchup against the Oilers... RNH scares no one and Mike Smith actually is terrible.

Normally I’d be shifting my attention to golf just like the leafs, but I can’t even do that.

Boy I hope the leafs go on a deep run.

I’m a member at a private course so I only play a handful of times at different courses.

I’m a mental wreck on the golf course. I shot a 71-76 going into a tournament. Feeling like king poop and on top of my game.

Shot 91-86 over the weekend. Golf is a fickle fickle game that I love and hate all at the same time.
