Like I said NHL wants this to happen. The welcome it and celebrate it. It's there identity. IF a player dies tonight or a career is over. They have nobody to blame but themselves

You have to love the irony that a career goon like George Parros somehow became the head of the NHL Dept of Player Safety.

I started to write something to the order of "they'll toss him out five minutes in to avoid the mess" and then thought: "wait, how old is he? He can't still be playing". Glad I looked it up

The problem with the league is that the refs and player safety if you can even call it that let everything go and players see this and will keep Doing it. Panarin is the Rangers top player so all star players and the goalies should be in play for the Rangers tonight by any means necessary. Slew foot using the stick like an ax boarding anyone in sight. The refs should be in play also for a spear or a slew foot or punch them out. This is what the league wants they celebrate this and want it to happen. It's only a matter of time before someone is murdered on the ice it's coming very soon.

Keith Jones nailed it, he didn't break the rules but he was inches away from leaving paranin in a pool.of blood and if that happened he's done for good

One of the Rangers will challenge Wilson to a fight. They will have a grab match, fake, wrestling match at center ice for thirty seconds. Fall on top of each other. 1500 people will applaud. Then nothing else will happen.

John Scott said it perfectly, it's open season know, if I am a star player I am keeping my head up. And the NHL has no one to blame but themselves.

'Didn't break the rules'
Ummm, I'd say having Buchnevich face down, with your stick under his throat, punching him in the back of the head and then yanking the stuck upward was pretty suspendable and certainly breaking the rules. Yanking another player by the hair and attempting to head-spike then into the ice, causing a season ending injury seems like it may go outside the bounds of rule-protected play as well.

It was a penalty and he thought he should be suspended but by the rulebook it can be justified. Parros is a moron and it was reported he was only gonna fine Wilson after the Carlo hit but Bittman said you're suspending hin

Of course he wouldn't fight Wilson because Wilson would destroy that plastic face
