Karine Hains: Ladies and Gentlemen, We Have a Winning Streak! It wasn’t a perfect game, far from it but once again, the Habs didn’t give up and came back to win 3-2 in OT against the Leafs.

Absolutely was a great win.

Notice the 3 v 3 under DD is more a possession thing, and strike when you can.

Something we’ve not seen with other coaches.

The results are showing too.

oh and I'm pretty sure Caufield is the first player ever to score his 2 first goals in OT in back-to-back games...

It was a struggle at first re ot but the players now have the hang of it, play keep away but tire the opposition at the same time and then strike. When they first tried to do this it was ridiculously bad but yes, now, it’s working

yup according to statsbystats twitter account:
Cole Caufield of the @CanadiensMTL is the first player in NHL history to score an OT goal in back-to-back games for his first 2 career goals.

because at first they were controlling the puck, but in their own zone! they were not pushing the play. so they were not getting anyone tired, except us.

I'm glad Petry was on for the latter half, but I'd be lying if I said I was thrilled to see Chiarot out to start. Given the gaffes that happened anyways, give the more mobile D the chances 3on3. At least they'd have a chance to catch up to a blown play.

They did lose possession a couple times tonight without a shot on goal.

But yes, it is a refreshing change to see them not going in a straight line and losing possession..
