Gotta measure from the bottom and start way in the back otherwise I’d only be the 3inchterror, and well that just sounds cute like Mickey Mouse or something. - 10inchTerror

Just run every player on the Caps including the goalie next game, the entire game.

Tom Wilson follows the illustrious legacies of the Bertuzzis and Cookes and McSorleys in making an entire career being human garbage. It'll be a good day for the sport when he retires to pursue a career in insurance sales or whatever else privileged scum like him have left to do. - countreeman28
Whoa, whoa, a little harsh on those players careers considering 2 of them had 1 blemish. Relax |

If I was NY, I would create a scrum when Backstrom was on the ice and cheap shot him. Should only cost 5k, right Brian Sickles? |

You keep trying to deflect from that POS Wilson by brining Crosby into it.
Maybe post your stupid gif again - even though it doesn't show what you think it shows.

If laviolette was a smart man he’d just scratch Wilson tonight but he’s just as much of an bumhole as Wilson! As a ranger fan if that piece of S. H. I. T Wilson does play I hope he gets slashed and breaks his hand or arm or is slew footed and tears his acl it would be poetic justice since there’s nobody that can take him in a fight on the rangers roster. Whatever it takes if he plays tonight he should be hurt and hopefully miss the playoffs! |

Brian Sickles: Caps 6, Rangers - Caps Win Contentious Game at MSG and Eliminate Rangers - Brian Sickles
We need a term for what Buchnevich just did, as it will soon be a new NHL trend. What do you call a guy who jabs a goalie while the puck is covered, then pretends to be dead so that nobody can touch him?
And the Rags are mad about the Panarin thing? He jumped on his back, and Wilson was generous to not drop the mitts. How many times has Chara been filmed rag-dolling guys instead of murdering them with his fists? And now they are targeting Parros? Maybe Buchnevich should have answered the bell after his 6'3" 210 arse just stuck your goalie, then none of this would have happened. Spinless response from a spineless team. Wilson is bigger and stronger so don't poke the bear unless you are ready. |

How many times did Chara pull their hair?
And your take on Buchnevich indicates you need glasses. or better glasses.
You tried this schtick in another thread and it failed just as badly there.

Do it. If you think your guys can go out and take liberties while Chara and Wilson are on the ice, you are mistaken. Wilson flexed, taunted, and was willing to go any player on your roster, but nobody could find their spine. So yes, this will be a heavily viewed game, and the fans of this "travesty" are excited to see if the Rags can find their courage at the end of this yellow brick road. Good luck beating up on the caps.... |

True. Not too many men with ponytails jumped on Chara's back. How is my take on Buchnevich wrong. He clearly played dead in the hopes that he wouldn't have to answer for sticking the goalie. Please inform me, and if you would like, please continue to troll my posts on this matter. I am fine with it. |

Well, for starters your take is wrong in that Buch never "stuck" the goalie. Furthermore, he was being pressed down onto a stick across his throat and his arms and stick were pinned underneath him. Perhaps why the term "defenseless" was used to describe him. And finally, even if you are right (you're not) and he "played dead" he was laying on the ice for all of 2 seconds before everything escalated even further.
You are wrong in every single aspect of your argument, but I don't expect that to deter you. Have fun. |

Tonight's game will be on my TV. Pay back games are often duds but I have a feeling this one will be a keg of dynamite. Rangers cleaned out front office earlier today. The players and coaches should be in a particularly agitated mood. Good luck to the caps skill players. They will need it. Wilson can't protect anyone when he is in the box serving multiple fighting majors. NYR nothing to lose except a couple $5K fines lol |

Whatever. You guys can cry bloody murder. He rag dolled Panarin and could have done much worse. I am not saying Wilson hasn't crossed the line in the past, he obsviously has, but the theatrics of this would have you believing that he did a flying elbow to a coach walking across the ice. This is a fast sport and things escelate quickly. Jump on Wilsons back and you might not like the consequences.
I have played at a decent level of hockey myself, and I have worked as a correctional officer in the past. I can assure you, if you are the victim, you will never be happy with the punishment handed out. You'd best police it yourself. My first look at that play I thought Wilson had a stick across Buch's neck, but he didnt. He simply laid there and didn't do a single thing to help himself. It's an overblown and over-analyzed play. This was a gloves on scuffle, and more guys jumped into the mix which only make Wilson more combative.
I think this stuff is great for the game. Twitter is abuzz, and everyone has their take. I know I am not in the minority with what I am reading from other posts, and can't wait to see what comes next. If these occurrences are too much for some viewers to watch, they'd best pick another sport. Hopefully the Rags take up Laraques offer for a one game contract and he can go and show the rangers what they desperately need. Too bad they traded Lemieux away. Not a fan of the guy but you know he would have done more than the rest of those guys. You don't have to win, but you need someone to at least show up. |

I have no skin in the game. I am a devils fan so I should enjoy seeing a ranger get his head smashed liked that. But cmon, i don't want this goon in the NHL anymore around my kids like nico, hughes, smith & bratt. That was not a hockey play at all. After the whistle and he is taking punches at the back of someones head while they are face first on the ice?? Are all these players part of the same player association? shouldn't players look out for each other?
I give Wilson a pass on a lot of the high hits. Lets be real, I've played hockey. Our sport moves so fast its hard to control your hits at times, especially when you are chasing a loose puck. Those hits are hockey plays whether we like to admit it or not.
Punching someone face down on the ice. Is dangerous, is not a hockey play and should be a suspension. If he is not suspended, I am losing faith in the NHL. That was not a hockey play, and has no room in our sport.

Don’t need to defend Wilson. $5k fine, meh. How about that...wait hang on, let me get my over the top hockey media mindset on...”disgusting, violent with a murderous intent and child hating cross check with a weapon hit to...” Manthas face event. Where is the rags outrage? Oh that’s right, they are nothing more then common hypocrites whose pair hasn’t quite dropped yet. |
