Ben Shelley: Development of Drysdale and Zegras has been highlight of season for Ducks

As a Sens fan I am extremely excited for Sanderson. But From the start I wanted Drysdale. He's going to be a very good player in the NHL for a long time.

Drysdale makes my heart flutter... starts in the league @ 18... doesn't miss a beat.. and although he's taken some lumps the kid is just a star in the making.

Z is already getting way comfy with Comtois and that is going to be a monster pair for years to come.

they both are already our best F and D... which says all you need to know about the construction of the team... Murray Sucks ass.

Really based on performance and upside... If you ask GM's honestly, Jamie on a redo draft goes no worse than 3rd.

His skating and poise with the puck are top shelf along with his confidence and being a RHD... holy smokes we lucked out.

Disagree 100% about Troy Terry. I think we're looking at next season's #1 line for Anaheim. Both Zegras and Terry are skilled with the puck and Comtois has shown he can finish. I'm thinking next year will be a scoring breakthrough for Max.
As for Drysdale, the fact that Eakins trusted him to play his off-side over veteran Josh Manson speaks volumes about his skill level, and Manson's. Barstool Bob's main goal this off-season is to make room for these kids on the Gulls. Sam Carrick has shown he can play in the NHL, Benoit has looked pretty good, Poturalski leads the western AHL in scoring, and Grouxl and DeLeo deserve shots at the Ducks, too. I'd be much more excited watching them than another season of Rackell, Heinen, Grant, Manson, Larsson, etc.
