What about taking a chance on Domi? 1 year left on his contract, didn’t work out this year in Columbus this year, would bring some physicality into the top 6 and let us drop Strome to 3C. Or maybe they’d want Strome back as part of the return? |

Max Domi has worse numbers and a more expensive cap hit than strome. He’s also 5’10 and has a less than stellar reputation. Why would we want him |

I want no part of Domi. Didnt want him coming from MTL, dont want him now. I think he brings the wrong attitude to the team. |

24, coming off his best year, one more year on a good contract, 6 ft (frank)in 6. And they’re finally winning |

yup, hes a monster. Id throw Gauthier/Blackwell/Pujaniemi/Raunanen, mid round pick at them and see what happens. |

They’re not going to get rid of him without getting an impact player back in return. They’re a playoff team. None of those players qualify. |

I'm sure Gorton, I mean Drury has inquired, as well as most other teams at the TDL. |

You have to overpay in a trade for a player like that. They have no reason to move him |

One thing about this roster as it is Today
You never hear about a guy being a problem, or having an attitude issue. They all are very open about wanting to be here and stay here.
Whomever we add, Drury needs to make sure they have the right character

This has nothing to do with anything but I was looking at the 2015 draft and the Bruins had 3 picks in a row in the first round and took zboril, debrusk, and senyshyn. The next 3 picks after that? Barzal, Kyle Connor, Chabot. Crazy |

I'd definitely get on board with this. Scheifele is known as one of the biggest hockey nerds in the league and just absolutely loves the game. I think he'd be great for us but I would imagine the ask is pretty big. That team needs some defensemen though so they could be good trade partners for us again if we offered Nils.
Would be great if we could end up swapping Hayes and Lundkvist for Trouba and Sheifele though - SkjeiStadium
Its pretty amazing how everyone wants to trade Nils but news flash everyone, he hasnt signed yet. Perhaps once he signs then maybe we trade him. |

Of course. No team is going to trade their chips for dips no matter what some on this site might think. |

No poop, but he hasnt signed yet. Im not exactly sure what happens if he doesnt sign with the Rangers by the summer. I think he becomes a Free Agent.
Anyone knows what happens if the Rangers dont sign him by the summers deadline?? |

I believe.. I may be wrong... either the team trades the players rights or they re-enter the draft. That may have been what was gonna happen with Kevin Hayes. |

There were a lot of quotes from Drury in this article about Lundkvist from a few weeks ago.
Interesting that Gorton was giving quotes in March then that changed to Drury in April and I never gave that a second thought at the time.

the Rangers deadline to sign Lundkvist is June of 2022 or else he becomes a UFA
but I think it's a foregone conclusion that he's signing once Worlds are over, at least if Rangers front office turmoil didnt mess that up
but seems like Drury has got things under control

4th line? Greenway would be a 3rd line guy that could move up into the top 6 if needed. - nyrangers9479
So are we getting rid of Panarin, Kreider, Laf, Kakko, Buch or Krav? Our top 9 wingers are pretty set. |
