My guess for Lindgren resigning was around 2.65m, I was close there.

My guess for Shesty is between 5.5m-6m per year for 4-5 years, lets see how close I get.

I'm just messing around. I wanted to do something like that a couple months ago but now I'm not so certain. I wouldn't be upset though.

I guess he will never be in one of those NHL TV commercials where everyone starts their sentences with "We..."

It probably depends when the exit interviews end, not sure when that is. Sounded like that was the only criteria to stay or go, the players feedback. If that’s the case and hearing that the stars weren’t happy, I think he could go because the big guys have to be on board with the coach

My first choice would be Gallant. Then Tocchet, then Knoblauch. I’m really not into the torts or Babcock rumor

Wonder if Drury could convince Dolan to shell out a huge offer to Brindamour. That owner is a cheapskate

If they decide to keep him, I just hope it isnt with the "short leash" plan. If the team starts off slow next season and they fire him 15-20 games in, the coach they wanted probably won't be available then.

If there is a coach out there now that they think would do a better job, they should just make the change, it's like trading a player to upgrade the position.

In all the talk about replacing Quinn, the same 4 or 5 names keep coming up, no one mentions it could also be Jacques Martin. Maybe he doesn't want to be a head coach now, he's 68, but he certainly has the pedigree, and has been with the team for the last year

talking to someone before in June 1987 Rangers gave up their 1988 first rounder which ended up being 5th overall to hire Michel Bergeron and he didn't even last two years, just like JD didn't

that 1988 5th overall pick, Selanne, Roenick and Brind'Amour were all sitting there

What would you do if Lou steps aside to a 'President of Hockey Ops' role and hires Gorton to be the GM?

So I don't know much about him, but I keep seeing Babcock's name associated with the Rangers? Why does everyone hate him so much? Wasn't he always beloved with Detroit and Toronto? I honestly didn't really follow him much while in Toronto.

I think the knock on him is he could only win the cup when he had a HOF team in Detroit, he was never able to get Toronto out of the first round
