That's not a bad return for Jack if Byfield isn't an option.

I don't see how you can go into the season with 23 - you could risk him getting hurt and then getting nothing for him.

It couldn't be a worse time...Eichel's value is at it's lowest due to his injury and Sam is a RFA with arbitration rights, who could walk from his new team in a year.

The problem is that they probably were all proud to be sabres at one point in time. But what do you expect from them when the franchise continues to go backwards. Changes at the top need to happen. You can trade them for new guys who will be proud to be Sabres, but no player wants to be part of a 10 year rebuild. After 4 years of going nowhere, the new guys will want out as well.

Losing McDavid sent this franchise into a spiral.

I didn't know that about Adams, but riddle me this, if he got a 2nd opinion and it varied wildly from the team doc's, why not place a grievance with the NHLPA? The way it's being presented is that he could have forced surgery if he truly wanted it to happen.

Players now want the most money possible, and that goes for any sport.
If Buffalo doesnt pay it, someone else will.
