I think he hasn't done that yet because his course of treatment in April was agreed upon by both parties. But as therapy has gone on it hasn't worked like people were hoping and the time has come to make that surgical decision and what procedure it should be.

ok, now this is starting to make a little more sense. Jack wants a surgery that is new and never performed on a NHL player. If I was the Sabres I would be very worried about doing this. I don't blame them one bit if they want to try other options first. Last thing you want to do is cut into your body...

What I find hard to believe is that no one is connecting other anecdotal, circumstantial, tangential thoughts together to expand the parade of horribles that can once again befall this team. Come on, this board can do better.
