24 year old ppg players never become tradeable....
How does no one understand he is the most talented player to be traded since Lindros.
Its not like were trading a 60 point player again. He is easily over a PPG player with other top line talent. Hes nearly a PPG without top line talent. He drives lines. He wins games singe handedly. He makes everyone on this ice with him better. - DirtyDan

Yes but those guys are being moved for pieces.
Im just trying to make it so no one complains in 2 years when we have a top 5 player in the draft but we again missed the best player by 1 pick. - DirtyDan

WTF are you talking about? Certainly not Jack Eichel. You're describing Conner McJesus.
Colt Brennan, who set numerous NCAA records as the quarterback of the University of Hawai'i, has died, his father, Terry Brennan, said. He was 37.
Terry Brennan told ESPN that his son died early Tuesday morning at a hospital in Newport Beach, California. The day before, paramedics were called to a hotel room where Colt Brennan had been with other people. Terry Brennan said his son had ingested something laced with fentanyl and never regained consciousness.
Only hours earlier, Colt Brennan had tried to enter a detox program at an area hospital, but he was turned away because there were no beds available.

I think the GM's in Friedman's article seem to agree that as of right now we'll get back a first, a decent prospect and something else. Like I said, I think he needs to play to change that.
Until Jack actually plays I think we are being wildly optimistic about the return for him. - Slump Buster
It won't be more salary then what he makes, a couple of late firsts and Rossi (Possible long term health condition of his own with severe COVID bout). Perhaps it will be somewhere in the middle, but there will be a bidding war for him. KA won't be talking to just LA and NYR. The whole league will throw something at Buf.

Do you think any GM or front office member of any team is going to go say they're ready to give up a king's ransom for a player?
Do you walk into the car dealership and tell them you'll pay whatever it takes for the vehicle you want? I would hope not.
