Can you move your neck at 100% and play NHL hockey though? - Sabretooth9
I can’t skate, so no. But yes I can move 100%. |

at this point. just get eichel moved for the best return and and get into the wright and bedard tank wars. |

I'd have way more respect for Jack if he just came out and asked for a trade.

The Sabres neurosurgeon is one of the best in the world.
He did Kevin Everett's surgery years ago, if he doesn't think it should be done I kind of agree with the team on this one - Stripes77

So the next question is ........ Do you trade eichel before he becomes potentially damaged goods?
If that neck injury goes wrong and he cant move it at 100% .... his value goes down and he might never be the same. - Sabretooth9
it's a routine surgery
odds of something going wrong is the same as removing tonsils |

Ahh gotcha. I am sorry. I didnt know!
Another concerning thing about eichel is his stomach / ab issue he continued to deal with from last year. He had 10 months to get that fixed (sports hernia) and it still lingered this year and wasnt taken care of!
he said he played a LOT of golf during the 10 months off. I mean .... you have time and are able to play golf. How did you not have time to get the hernia fixed? |

A disc replacement is NOT a routine surgery
You're literally taking out a disc in your neck and putting a fake one in there.
With you spinal cord right there |

LOL adams flat out asked players if they wanted to be here ...... - Sabretooth9
Honestly, that’s a very good first step. Will never get anywhere with players that are miserable where they play. Better getting the best possible returns for them and send them on their way. That was Tallon’s first step when he came to FL with plans of finally turning things around in Sunrise. That’s why Horton and Buowmeester were traded. |

I think calling out a goalie who hasn't saved a beach ball in a year and a half is one of the least egregious things someone on this team could have done.. Especially after watching said goalie blow any opportunity at an expanded playoffs that you would have made for the first time in your career. If Ullmark doesn't go down, and Buf isn't forced to play Hutton, I think they would have made the playin games last year. Would have done wonders for their confidence imo. - SDSabre
Did you watch the games? The team was and still is loaded with quitters. When your best games are the ones with little meaning to them I’d say changed are needed. They haven’t had a goalie yet that I would put anything more than some of the blame on them. I watched almost all the sabres games over the last decade or so and there isn’t any one player that is at fault. This mess has been a total team effort. |

the more that we hear and comes out about this eichel surgery drama, it seems to me that eichel is the one being unreasonable
the problem is he's probably choosing to be unreasonable to force buffalo's hand in moving him because of what a dumpster fire they've been in his career here |

I would imagine so
Dr Cappuccino did my wife's surgery
He is one of the leading doctors on artificial disc replacements in the neck and back. If he is against this surgery for Jack it's for a reason |

I have a family member that needed spinal surgery and I assure you, it is not routine. Fusion is the common practice, disk replacement is very new. |
