if you are the gm, what would you do given this week
- homiedclown

I'd do what KA says he's doing. Figure out who's doing their job and who isn't. Walk in with a set of expectations, who's meeting them, who's not, who's developing, who's not.

Personally I feel like Jack stays. His neck will be healed one way or the other, and he'll be back to competing. But he expects help, and that's not an unreasonable request. Kevyn needs to follow in Brandon's footsteps to bring in the right people, and get rid of the wrong ones.

Buying a round for all when he's traded
- TheSabresTaco

Felt that way about soft Sam.

Since mid April, the guy played excellent hockey.

Sam absolutely helped his stock this season, switching to center was long overdue.

2 rounds when mr. Irrelevant leaves.

* heard a whisper about sam to Seattle, after the expansion draft... makes sense

We're a pretty dysfunctional fan base right now. I've seen everything from Fire Granato to Give Risto the C today.

Wild times. Homie is being tame in comparison, but someone might want to pull his cord. He needs fish room time, I can tell.

I think this is very accurate, we also take a cap dump and maybe add a young defenseman too☝️

I think, just like we all have, he has a lot of questions for each individual. He said he spent the past few days sitting down with everyone, not sure if he's done. Then I think he said he has some ownership meeting coming up where Kim says I want to win but I don't want to spend any money on people that will help us win.

Rangers fire Quinn. Sabres will end up hiring him as coach for little female dog boy Eichel. That would be the absolute worst.

there it is

""we understand those that have been here are frustrated

we are going to get it right

with the guys that want to be here"

- homiedclown

Perfect answer.

You want to be here? (frank)ing great, let's get to work.

You don't? Adios. We'll trade you and the pieces we get back will help this team going forward.

jack wants surgery
jack's preferred dr want's surgery

sabres staff uncomfortable with surgery

pretty much all you need to know

- homiedclown

It's an unknown surgery. It's never been done on an NHL player. I understand the team's hesitancy.

I'm ready to move all 3.
Clearly I like viking55 still.

It's just not working, as we all know.

Risto hates buffalo less than the other 2 hate being here.
He works well with the young guys currently here.
He would help us get a top 3 pick by playing "his" game
Perfect trade deadline bait. 1/6 of 5.4 million

I thought the same thing 3ER, but the relationship between the Sabres and eichel is beyond repair.

Only one that needs to be moved is Eichel. He's the only problem. Good luck getting what these delusional fanboys think he is worth. Everyone outside of Buffalo knows he's so overrated and not even close to being worth his contract.

I'd have way more respect for Jack if he just came out and asked for a trade.

Be direct instead of being passive aggressive about it for the last 3 years

No you would not. You would treat him like garbage and call him a quitter. NOT respect.

I don't see Kevyn as a man who would cater like that while ignoring the need to hire the best person possible for the job. My opinion.

the more that we hear and comes out about this eichel surgery drama, it seems to me that eichel is the one being unreasonable

the problem is he's probably choosing to be unreasonable to force buffalo's hand in moving him because of what a dumpster fire they've been in his career here

- robz228

Concerned over his health is more important. It is obvious that the Sabres are a bad organization. Why would Eichel depend on them. His health - not unreasonable.

Adams thinks the talent to win is here, and that the issue has been the players not buying into something bigger than themselves.

that's probably low key significant.

I completely disagree.

Eichel was arguably getting close enough to McDavid's play last season. Enough that some fan boys would rather have had eichel than McDavid.

Eichel is a top 10 talent in the nhl
His mvp odds even reflect his value.

Being a boston B!tch and crying injured baby will definitely put a small kink in the appeal.

La for byfield and a few more picks and pieces.

His contract is a deal considering skimmer making 1 million less more 1 more year.

Prime nhl age 24 -29

Kreider and maga isnt gonna cut it 3ER.
Good troll job though if I overlooked it.....
🙂

yeah...i get it...but it's not every day you come across a bona fide No. 1 center...over the three seasons prior to this one his 1.06 pts. per game was 15th in the league while playing for the worst organization in the nhl...his pts/gm during that stretch went from 0.96 to 1.06 to 1.15 while his plus/minus went from -25 to -11 to +5...he's just starting to come into his own and it's why i (and probably the sabres) really don't want to see him traded

I can't even believe how good Sam looked at Center. Not sure if it was his draft year or the year after when he led the World Jrs in points, but I thought he was going to be great. It seemed like he always knew what to do or where to go in every situation and that is what it was starting to look like towards end of the season at center. I don't see him being among the best in the league, but he is the one the Sabres should bring in help for. I say get him some grit and some scoring in the Eichel trade. Extend Risto and make him Captain. For the Risto haters, it's not like the added pressure of wearing the C is going to make him play any worse, right?
