Yes Bonino is slow. Yes, Sutter is slow. We traded Bonino for Sutter (and draft selections were exchanged).

Bonino won cups with the Penguins. Sutter anchored our incredible bottom six.

Mini suggested bringing him back, which would basically be Benning acknowledging that he should never have made that trade in the first place.

Enter my smart alec comment - trade Sutter and a 3rd for Bonino. That would mean that the Canucks basically traded two 3rds for a player they already had. Benning could have saved five years and $16m and just given the Pens a couple draft picks for nothing...

So no, I wasn’t serious about bringing Bonino back, it’s probably the worst idea I’ve ever heard.

Yes, that was hyperbole, no offense meant Mini.

His salary is about a million more than Sutter. I'd like to see it happen.

I don't get why you want a slow overpaid winger to play 3LC and to give up assets for him.

I feel like the risers in the rankings are the players that already play a mature game. Ones that have a higher floor but a lower ceiling.

None taken. It was just a cheap option, not saying it has to happen. He would be an improvement on the current, at I'm sure a much cheaper price.

I love construction fails, especially when you related them back to Benning's building ability

That is pretty impressive considering doors have notches in the side where the hardware should go.

My father does Reno's and upside down in the most common mistake it seems.

Gaudette slow, that's pretty slow.

4 points in his first 3 games. 0 in his last 4.

He's no Sam Bennett.

Gaudette could probably be fast if he didn’t skate like a wacky waiving inflatable arm flailing tube man.

The NFL has a 3 hour tv live event for the schedule release tonight.

3 hours to discuss the schedule. And I thought the NHL's TDL and UFA day coverage was wild.

Can't beat the NFL at manufacturing hype.
