Why would Habs not play Caufield?
They need to score goals and Caufield can do that. (Habs and Blues are only playoff teams with a negative goal differential and Habs are one of 3 playoff teams with least goals scored (156)). - MaximusAurelius
Well the whole point of having Perry was him stepping up in the playoffs like he did with Dallas last season. So I'm guessing they put him in so he can live up to that, he also did pretty damn good all season.
Now you could always put Caufield in and remove someone else.... but the Byron-Evans-Lehkonen line has proven quite effective lately so you can't remove one of them....
Armia is the ony who complemented Toffoli and Suzuki the best so far.
You're not sitting the powerhorse that's Anderson who may very well play with KK and Perry.
No one is touching the Tatar-Danault-Gallagher line.
So yeah.... Caufield will play because god can that kid shoot. But I don't think he'll start.

I mean, kind of yeah.
If they don't win the cup then there's work to be done? If they make it past the first round it's progress but not success... - TheMussel
For sure, but it doesn’t mean they didn’t have a successful season. Making it to a conference title is success, to a Stanley Cup final is success. Sure the ultimate goal is the SC, but there are a ton of factors that produce a SC winner, some controllable, some not. It isn’t an easy thing to win even if a team has the overwhelming odds to do so...that’s why they play the games. Wanting and expecting perfection is not realistic. |

It seemed like Jack wanted to be “The Man”. Maybe that’s his issue...he just wants to play hockey without responsibility. |

Some he-man types will say anything short of SC is a failure.
I think management will be happy with the way the regular season played in terms of where they finished but things like GAs, whatever. They’ll make similar assessments apart from how they finish in the playoffs.
I’ll be very unhappy if they don’t get out of the North. I really want them to win s round beyond that to dispel the weak division narrative. I think winning the Cup is a real possibility. It’s impossible to say how the other divisions will play out and what this team might be like if they win a few rounds. |

Rubbery wings and sour beer
Have been a loyal patron for over 30 years. They have the smallest wings of any pub around. They are the size and taste of frozen Olymel/Flamingo frozen wings with a rubbery consistency. I put this to the server who, after being questioned and hesitating, said they’re deep fried. No way these rubbery wings are deep fried; my guess is they came out of a microwave. Wondering when draft lines were last cleaned — the beer was sour.

Ask uacturbo about Peel Pub - Atomic Wedgie
Nobody from Montreal goes to Peel Pub because it is widely known that the place is complete trash. Toronto teenagers is the only reason that place is in business.
For wings, it used to be Ye Olde Orchard (capon wings) though that's gone down hill in quality. Best places last I checked were still Irish Embassy before it burned down and "le" next door |
