thanks Karine, and I agree on Primeau, MB needs to do something to keep Allen, Caydeune is the youngest goalie in the NHL right now and barely played this year, he needs more experience in the AHL.

15M is a lot of cap space to take up at the goalie position, pat. there are a slew of UFA goalies this off-season. quite a few on par with allen that will be cheaper. as it stands now the habs only have 12M in space going into next season with Danault and Tatar as UFAs.

if there are other options that are as good then fine, but Allen is better than most backups, and with Price's health always being a gamble you can't afford to have a guy that isn't at least at the same level
