Carolina is a nightmare… Soros is the only reason that series wasn’t 4 zip..

Canes ability to counter through the neutral zone is crazy. Tampa D not as strong top to bottom as Preds but Bolts are so much superior up front…

Although I don’t think their power-play is going to get many chances at all and that was a huge factor against Florida.

Carolina worries me. The worst game of the Lightning's season was against the Hurricanes. Tampa has always had problems with Hurricanes. (*rimshot*)

Carolina completely shutdown Tampa in that game. Dominated. The Bolts looked like an AHL team next to them for that one game.

On the flip side, the Bolts did the same thing to them in a single game, so maybe those two cancel out.

If we see Vezina Vasi, the Bolts will have a major edge. If we see Cats Vasi, then that advantage suffers significant shrinkage.

I won't make any predictions, because I suck at them.

But Cats Vasy.... he still put up a .929 save percentage seeing 40 shots per game and made the situation saves needed to win and got a shutout. I thought Vasy played very well to be honest and was the difference to win the series.

Going to be a fun series to watch, I think it will be more skillful and a little less gritty as Carolina from all the games I have watched don't play a real heavy game.

Depends on if Paquette is healthy enough to go for round two or not.

If he is, that 4th line gets real aggressive real fast. Otherwise, yeah.

One thing that will definitely be different is the approach to the game. Florida is full run and gun type stuff. Canes like to get the puck deep and play more from deep in the zone and below the circles. If the forwards aren't coming back to support and try to cheat a little it makes for a long night.

I try not to be too much of a homer and look at the team critically. Tampa is so stacked with higher-end talent and complementary pieces, that it's hard to find a serious flaw anywhere. I guess being a Lightning fan during the early and basement years colored my future thinking about the team to a certain degree also. LOL.

Vasi's numbers evened out with some help from his series-clinching shutout. But his lows were lower than usual against Florida, even during the regular season. Against any other team, he's a granite wall. Against Florida, he's Jekyll Hyde. I like how he stacks up against the Cane's goaltending though. Advantage to Vasi.

Panthers got their share past Vasi, but still he was the difference in the series. His first periods in games 2&4 were unreal. Panthers could’ve gone into the first intermission with a few goals on the board each game. And then game 6 he did it again.

Hard to believe In this day and age a hockey team would restrict what a fan Is wearing at Lightning game In certain seats. How EMBARRASSING!!!!! TB management should be absolutely ashamed of themselves!!!!! So ARROGANT. It's not enough that the patrons are plunking down a hefty amount of money to see a game and then management thinks It's a good Idea to dictate a certain dress code depending on where one Is sitting? Out of control!!!!!!

I would absolutely love to see the Avs and Bolts in the finals. Win or lose that would be a classic series. And I'll probably come away from that series with a heart condition
