Let him walk for free, he’s a useless hockey player. Everyone was saying how important he was to the PP but when he was out the PP didn’t skip a beat. There’s 500 other players out there that can fill his role but better.

well just in terms of the expansion rules, the only two forwards that fulfill the requirement are Rooney and Blackwell, so they'll expose them both for sure, and then either Howden or Gauthier

if they want to protect Blackwell, they'll have to have Howden signed to a new contract by the expansion draft

Look everyone is entitled to their opinions. Im sure I get on people’s nerves with my idealistic (and unrealistic) trade/roster proposals. But I love this team, I want this team to have the best players. I cant help it.
