I think both Reilly and Hall for sure but Tuukka and Krecji have to be at the right price. Someone might overpay though

Sounds like Hall coming back. Tuukka out for a while with hip surgery but will be back. Might give him a short deal to see if he can still play. Doesn’t seem like he will go anywhere. Sounds like the same for Krecji.

They’ll save money next year on these deals but need to get a goalie and some depth on defense.

Too much reliance on the top guys to carry this team

Gone Krejci/DeBrusk/Carlo/Coyle

Keep Hall/Reilly

Rask is okay, but move on if that cap can be better used to improve the team.

Revamp the defense and bottom 7 forwards in the lineup with the traded assets + free up cap

You’re welcome

Resign: Hall, Ute, Carlo, Miller and Rask.

Ute has been a warrior for us, doesn't hurt the team by being stupid and is a model of consistency. Home town deal.

Give Miller incentive laden deal. X amount for Y games played and extra 250k for every time he knocks out Wilson.

Given Miller injury history, including this year, i m not sure i would keep a top 5 position for him; maybe 6/7...love the guy, but his injuries have hurt the Bruins giving him a high slot..

announced today Suter to be bought out by Wild. Pretty durable, but older..I think would easily fit in for a top 6 guy...Lefty too which is needed

Kevan Miller announces retirement. Complete warrior. Will be missed

Carlo signs 6 year extension at a average annual cap hit of $4.1 million. Like him a lot; hope he stays healthy

Good signing. Millar was tough going to need to replace that muscle

Sad day, loved that guy, but injuries caught with him. Still young and have lots of life left, no reason to risk his health further.

Now we need to get some physical players in the roster. We are too (frank)ing soft.

Hearing Taylor Hall return to #NHLBruins is moving in that direction.

from Andy Strickland..i think pretty reliable source, but who knows...wont be signed before expansion draft so dont have to protect him..

Why do I get the feeling “Yandlemania” is coming to Boston a decade too late? Don’t do it Donny …. For the love of god.

The league released each teams’ list on Sunday morning and, as expected, the defensemen the B’s protected were Charlie McAvoy, Brandon Carlo and Matt Grzelcyk. The forwards were Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak, Charlie Coyle, Craig Smith, Jake DeBrusk and Trent Frederic. The goaltender protected was Dan Vladar (Jeremy Swayman is on his entry level contract and thus ineligible for the draft).

Ritchie, Lauzon and Cliffy left unprotected...I'm guessing one of the Dmen will get picked..

Rumor this morning was Zboril..which would make 2015 draft even more of a (frank)ing disaster...Senyshyn appears to be a dud and Debrusk is probably on trading block..

Awful

I’d prefer them take Zboril. Clifton is what he is and has a great contract. I think Jake gets the first part of the season (anyway) to rebound before they look at potentially moving him.

seems that way..was good on PK and is tough

leaves the left side quite weak...serious upgrade needed quickly..

I dont think they have a legit number 1 left side D man...I like Gryz, but think he is a 3/4 guy and has run out of gas in playoffs coupled with injuries

The right side is set with Chuck and Carlo..

Glad they didn’t take Cliffy. Even with Lauzon in the lineup that side still needed to be upgraded. Maybe this will force it to happen.

Many looking forward to this. More than a few GM’s curious given a few of Seattle’s expansion draft selections. Also, finishing touches on Hall’s new contract with Boston likely cleaned up tomorrow. Should come in at 4 years and close to $24 million total.

From dreger...

Update today: Bruins and Taylor Hall are working on the final details of his agreement, including no-trade coverage. When finalized and signed, Hall stays in Boston for 4 years at $6 mil per season.

From Dreger

Nothing on Krejci yet..

Donny saying ‘no timeframe’ on UTE…. We’ll there better be a (frank)ing timeframe before his potential replacements are snapped up and Donny is once again left holding his own pecker. Decision time, UTE …. You in or are you out????

$2.6 million dollar qualifying offer to Kase???

What am I missing here?

I want no part of that guy as anything other than a 13th forward at league minimum. And honestly I really don’t want that either.

Hall still not formally announced either...agree, cant give Krejci too much time...rumour out there today about Dvorak from Arizona which may mean Krejci is not comong back..him and Hall played together in Arizona
