The second round pick the Hawks got from Vegas is now essentially a 3rd round pick. Way to go Stan. #ASF

The odds shall be Tampa vs Vegas for The Holy Grail.

Will be a very good series with either team capable to win the Cup

I see both teams have a defense functional well when the deep forward lines, the experience, and the goaltending are solid - so any defensive shortcoming is not glaring. Vegas is a good cycle the puck as well.

I say Tampa is better but look at it this way;

Compare Vegas ability to beat Colorado to greater, same, or less difficulty to best Tampa. What does Tampa do better than Colorado? Beside the obvious Tampa goaltending is better than Colorado.

Both teams have a premiere dman as difference maker

Tampa gets offense from #2-4 lines which are well balanced. Vegas has talented productive players throughout line up although I tend to like Tampa's depth better than Vegas..Hmm.

Both teams can come back from a deficit

We won't consider what if scenario for either team going to back ups in net

What team do you predict and why?

I couldn't figure out that Twitter feed.

One of the rumors was trading Seabrook's contract and something for the team to take it.

Thought maybe Kurashev or Nylander....

New blog! A look at whether a true #1 defenseman is necessary for the Blackhawks to being a contender again.
