Bunch of ingrates that have the combined IQ's of giraffes. Plenty of people pay attention to the Flyers from October thru March, but real hockey people would NEVER call into those worthless stations that only talk about the Beagles and Sucksers!! Thanks again! Although I will agree(finally with something you say) that it is mostly corporate heads at those games now cause they've priced the real fans out. We had season tickets from 1985-2005 and gave them up after the work stoppage. Haven't been to a game since the 2012 playoffs against the Pens. I still watch on TV, but until they put a team on the ice that exudes at least some excitement we ain't payin that kind of cash.

That experience died with the Spectrum. Hockey just ain't Philly's thing man. Plenty of rabid fans but the vast majority of Flyers fans are casual at best. They've been number four in that city for years. Hockey fans don't call in to WIP because they don't talk about hockey. Why? Because the city doesn't care about it until playoffs close in. In other words Oct to March, Philly doesn't care. Sad reality, but someone such as yourself is A: a dying breed and B: an anomally....until playoffs

always has been Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and Sixers. I'm talkin bout all things being equal(of course there is ebbs and flows based on success at any given time). The reality is that the Phillies and Sixers only draw when they are good and even then sometimes they don't draw. THe Flyers and Eagles draw whether they are good or bad. When the Sixers sucked they were lucky to get 10,000 people in the building and that was with cheaply priced tickets. If they were in another division they wouldn’t have made the playoffs. People say the same about us I get it but to me it’s moronic with what we’ve done the last three years in intradvisional play and pre/post covid in the playoffs. You can’t always blame losses on goalies and refs. Lol. With that said there’s also that chance Price plays incredible and they surprise. It’s the playoffs.

I can’t envision him wearing another team’s shirt and I would imagine any new manager wouldn’t be happy losing Kane but this team looked lost the last 4 or so months. It’s been stated Levy doesn’t want to sell him but he’s asked, and he’s certainly earned the right to play for a Champions League team.
