Depends on if they were homemade pickled. Canned/jarred yeah, but if he pickled them with the onions, I could get down with that. My chick makes brown people pickled onions for her Dominican breakfast, and I could totally eat some pickled jalapenos if they are pickled like that.

I pickled my own jalapenos and onions for the first time and I'll never buy jarred jalapenos again. It was so easy and the flavor was so good, not to mention still had a decent amount of crunch. Jarred jalapenos can sometimes be too mushy and I don't like that.

Yup, completely agree. How long did you pickle them for before eating?

Two days, but I tried them just after they cooled down and were delicious. I didn't cut them very thick so they would pickle faster. I'm not sure how long they'll keep their crunch for though. The recipe said they keep for about a month.

Not intentionally to appease the crowd who thinks POJ is meh, I'm still for using Riikola in a 3rd pairing role. If the Pens can move POJ to help the team and keep Riikola I'm all-in.

I'm still so baffled by how they've handled him, not to mention he comes close to fitting the mold Hextall wants. He's not overly big, but he plays a physical game while having a sound all-around game.

They should dump Matheson and Pettersson. Round out the D with POJ Riiki Ruh and Friedman.

I played around with Capfriendly a bit. Not sure I love this but I like it better than where we are currently at.

Targeted Parayko, Danault and Fleury.

I don’t agree with you on much, but I don’t mind this.

EDIT: I guessed at Ullmark. Some on there think he'll get upwards for $4.5M, but I really don't know how to gauge him.

Greiss got 2 x 3.6m last summer so Ullmark should be in that range.

Are we supposed to pick a player from every group or a group as a whole?

Nobody from Group A
MAF from Group B
Kassian from Group C

I think there's a good chance they try and snag Saad.

That would be great, but I have a hard time visualizing how they can pull that off financially. I've been throwing together unrealistic AGM's that really only free up space by shipping out all three of Matheson, Pettersson and Zucker. I'm not sure how realistic it is we can move Matheson with little to no salary coming back.

The former.

My sense is that they'll be aggressive to get one "big name" "big guy". I dont think itll be a useless plug like Deslauriers.

If Ceci doesn't come back, it's like a glaring welcome sign to Risto. And then for the next two years we would get to hear about how he abused Sid and we're so glad to have him on our side.

Personally I would love to sign Coleman but could definitely see Saad return to the Burgh.

In all seriousness, what's the chances Legare or Poulin make the team?

Pretty small IMO, I think they need some time in the AHL to marinate. Playing in juniors last season didn't really do poop for them, and they didn't really light it up until playoffs, which to me ain't that great of a sign. I think they are at least a year out before they make the jump to the show, if they even do at all.

Opening roster, probably a good chance for one with Malkin out and them being in the mold the team is looking for. Might need a little time though. Legare in particular seems a bit if a project.

What's nice is they'll be in WBS this year and don't have to make the team in camp to work their way on to it later.

Probably. I'm sure McCann and Carter will both play center until Geno comes back.

Oof you're probably right.

Well there will be more injuries. We'll see how they fill out the depth chart.

Curious if they might delay a salary dump knowing they have a couple extra months at least.

I wonder about that too. Sully had them pretty inseparable. McCann played with Carter on line 2 over Zucker rather than break them apart.

I guess that also depends on if they keep Freddy. We could see Blueger as 3C and Freddy as 4C.
