Trotz says he has heard nothing from Player Safety. To a degree, if no fine is issued, it would appear they agree with our assessment of Rutta's response.

Trotz said he doesn't expect any further punishment for Barzal's hit on Ruuta. 5K fine pay it and run.

I was convinced they would suspend him for a game even after the stuff Boston got away with.

That escalated quickly! I'm a huge fan of Barry Trotz and Matt Martin and as a Wild fan I have great memories of Cal Clutterbuck but TB Is the best team In the NHL.

Forgot who it was maybe coyle cross checking mayfield repeatedly in the head when he was down on the ice? He didn’t get concussed but it was pretty (frank)ing brutal. Also, Nelson got the same treatment. No concussion either but flagrant none the less. Is Rutta concussed?

All teams have gotten away with crap in the playoffs. Even the Islanders. I've wathed the series with TB, an seen the intereference and hacking being done on Kucherov - well - except for last night.

Don't get like Habs fans thinking they are all innocent. Habs have knocked out 2 opposing Cs with concussions and were draped over Auston Matthews all series.

EVERY TEAM has been taking liberties.

I think I am concussed after watching that game last night.

All teams have gotten away with crap in the playoffs. Even the Islanders. I've wathed the series with TB, an seen the intereference and hacking being done on Kucherov - well - except for last night.

Yep agreed. I’m not saying they’re not but didn’t think Barzal deserved to be the first player suspended after all of the other much more severe stuff that went down like what I mentioned.
