I wouldn’t have really cared either way. With that said for what he has done with the islanders good for Lou he doesn’t have much time left in this role. Always next year for Zito. Also, it’s judged up to the 2nd round so I’m sure the panthers not making it past the first played a part in the decision.

Yeah I’m just saying Florida was 2nd best in points percentage increase from last season behind Detroit and he actually made changes to their roster. The timing of the voting is stupid and is peak NHL.

Wow, so Wally in for Zajac?

Sometimes not making many moves and keeping your group together is tougher with the cap. That said, he should be applauded for trading the right player keeping the pieces of the team together that he thought could succeed once again. He turn not only the product on the ice around in 1 one but changed the whole culture of the team. Once again the Islanders are respected and not one of the laughing stocks of the league.

Wow,Fire Trotz. I think Bailey, Leo, Leddy, Zajac and Mayfield should sit and Bellows, Wally Johnston, Hickey and Aho should be in. sOrOkin should be between the pipes.
We need to change this lineup because it just hasn't worked in these PO's. Let the kids get a chance to play.

I prefer schneider.
