I do though find Nolan Patrick going to Vegas as being quite peculiar. Does Brad McCrimmon know something that the rest of the league does not know? He did trade away Cody Glass to acquire him, which is a pretty steep price.
I do believe that McCrimmon was the GM in Brandon when Patrick played there. |

I posted this on Twitter earlier, so I’m just gonna copy and paste it here for you guys:
If things are looking truly shut in Colorado, the Jets should trade Copp’s rights for Landeskog’s
Colorado gets a guaranteed player who can step right into Landeskog’s spot (albeit not as good)
Winnipeg gets a chance to throw money at a youth-friendly, prime Wheeler. Go for it |

Why give Colorado an asset for a ufa you can talk to in a few days?
Though I like the idea to sign Landeskog away from our division rival. Jets would have to trade Copp but they can get something for him. |

Lou in Long Island wont waste anytime spending his new found cap space. Landy is going to the Island to play on Barzal's wing. book it. |

Cody Glass hasn't done anything and was taken 4 spots after Patrick iIrc, it's a change of scenery for both guys and yes McCrimmon would know Patrick well but there's nothing peculiar about that, plenty of NHL GMs chase players they had from their junior coaching or management days. |

It would be something if Patrick developed into the player he was projected to be in Vegas. Imagine a first line of 2 Winnipeggers in Stone and Patrick. It’s like Vegas with a Manitoban born GM has more Manitobans on Vegas than any other team. It’s kind of like the Jets that seem to have more Minnesotans than the Wild. Crazy how these things turn out sometime. |

This is a great point! Imagine signing both Landeskog and Hamilton in the same offseason! We’d be the most dominant team in the Central for sure. |

Exclusive negotiating rights. It’s like UJ said. Don’t give Lou the chance. Look what happened when the Islanders were confident they could keep Tavares in free agency |

there will be a waive of moves made around the league post expansion when the trade freeze is lifted. I have a feeling and a source telling me about one potential Jets move I know I will loathe and hate with a passion if it comes to fruition. I am already praying each night it doesn't happen. sorry to be open ended but that's all I will say. - Ross77
Come on, you can't just hang this out here and leave everyone wondering what the potential secret is. Pls enlighten us what you are praying never happens?? |

It's got to be Sbisa.
They wouldn't bring back Bitetto - unless it was to coach the Moose. Would they?
Ross, who you picking in the HB draft?

Yeah nobody is giving up a guy who was on pace for 60 points in a full season for a few days of negotiation rights. They give up 5th or 4th round pick.

The pick will be posted tonight I think. But to be honest I was very much undecided. Yesterday I decided on two guys who then both went with the two picks before mine today which left me scrambling a bit. |

The best part about preparing for the draft is reading all about these guys and now I can’t wait to see who the Jets take on Friday.......If we keep the pick |
