I wouldn't think so either, but wasn't there a ton of reports saying he had a ton of interest from other teams? Every time I think their isn't value on a player, he gets traded for either peanuts compared to what I thought, or a team paid way more than I thought lol.

I suspect there is some interest in the player when retained but doubt that he brings back much value. I would guess a 4th round pick or lower end prospect.

David Riitch was traded for a 3rd round pick. Holtby is better than him. Jordie Benn was traded for a 6th.

Yes I do. Rittich got a high 3rd at the deadline from a desperate team. While Benn and Lauzon or Soucy are 3rd pairing guys, Benn is much less effective and older and a UFA.

Yes I do. Rittich got a high 3rd at the deadline from a desperate team. While Benn and Lauzon or Soucy are 3rd pairing guys, Benn is much less effective and older and a UFA.

Holland says he won’t be making qualifying offers to Khaira and Kahun.

Canes didn't want to go to arbitration with Nedeljkovic. They tried to re-sign him but couldn't get it done.
