Some trades are just baffling. You might say that Carolina wanted a 2nd but also Bernier and Detroit said no that's too much, 3rd instead, it's top of the 3rd round.

One round kind of makes a trade seem like too much or a steal.

I wasn't super high on giving up an early 3rd for D!ckinson but if it had been a 4th, I would have said it was a steal.

That's just me though.
