Rather trade York or Frost? Because Seattle is not taking any salary unless you give them the equivalent of a top prospect/1st. Probably the same asking price for any other team w/ cap space right now.

GM's ought to freeze out Francis when he comes looking for trades to strengthen his roster....drive prices down by not dealing with him and getting them desperate to find some talent if they are going to take this approach.

If all of these rumors are true, I'm actually glad. The NHL and their billionaire owners deserve what they get. They somehow convinced the NHLPA to vote in favor of a hard cap to protect themselves from themselves and now they're angry because Francis is playing them? Cap ruined the game, IMO. Can't even recall off the top of my head when any team in the NHL "bought" a Cup through free agency when there wasn't a cap. And yes, I'm salty. Not because I begrudge billionaires for being billionaires (good for them), but because they made the best the sport in the world not fun, IMO.

Not even close to Buffalo. Its actually a pretty decent team. Some picks I dont like but a lot of young talent that should surprise people
