Btw, the three contracts we are talking about, the ones we desperately want the team to be rid of, are all Hextall contracts.

As others are pointing out, there is not much connection between the selection of Twarynski in ED and the rest of what you propose. For either side.

I was actually in favour of not adding any sweetners to get rid of the big 3. Would rather just ride it out with them. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s how it’s going to go.

Only thing that makes sense as far as trades go would be if CF gave Seattle something not to take one of the other exposed guys, like Braun, Hagg or Sandstrom.

It makes sense there has to be more when you think of it, Carsen T is not an NHL player and doesn't even have trade value. I just hope the salary the Flyers cover is minimal, like under $2M. Given the Flyers let it leak they want to part ways with Jake, its clear they must have something in place, because you just don't do that to a player like Jake, who for all his faults is a pretty stand up guy.
